Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.
We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

downy soft
Bought these pillows in a never-ending search for more comfortable sleep! These pillows were just the opposite of what I usually try, which is firm foam. This was not working, so tried squishy down pillows which were at a hotel we stayed at. Loved them! Both the ones at the hotel and the ones I purchased from Overstock.com! I can mash them into whatever shape I need and they rebound again. Excellent price by my comparison shopping.

Initially very pleased with these pillows -- time will tell if they wear well and keep their loft, but so far, I am impressed with their loft and the uniformity of the down filling. They fill a pillowcase nicely and shake quickly back into full plumpness. My husband and I have radically different wants for pillows -- I sleep on my side and prefer support. He sleeps on his back and wants the thinnest pillow possible. These pillows are working for both of us; I punch mine up, he mashes his down :) He has not been a fan of down before this, preferring the cheapest poly pillows ever, and I have despaired of ever having nice-looking pillows on the bed. These may be changing his mind -- let's all hope, anyway.

A very good FIRM down pillow
When I finally received the pillow and used it the first time, it kept my head up so high that I thought I might have to return it. After using it for a few days it " softened up " a little. Now, it is perfect for me. I am a side and belly sleeper and I really like the pillow. It does not flattened out like a " soft " or " medium " down pillow. There was no smell when I removed the plastic covering. I was able to use the pillow the very same night.

comfy & affordable
Don't pay the $100+ others ask for a 100% down pillow. This is what you want. My very very very picky 'belle amour' is highly satisfied with these pillows. Since she refers to herself as the Princess, you get the idea. I like them too.

sIDE sLEEPER
I am a side sleeper and had two worn out very old down pillows. I would not give these up because as a side sleeper even though the down was crushed I could pinch these old things into a ball and get a good night sleep. I only kept these rags two days after this new pillow arrived. In that short period of time I new this pillow was perfect for a side sleeper.

Not all down-false advertising
This pillow is supposed to be all down but it is only 75% per the label on the pillow. It gets flat very quickly and the cover is very noisy. The bag that the pillow arrived in had no paperwork with it, as if it had been removed to hide the quality. I am going to return this pillow and keep searching for better quality.

down pillow
The outer cover of this Arctica White down Pillow is made of a stiff material that that is actually noisy when you lay your head on the pillow because it is so stiff. I found it impossible to sleep. It has been relegated to the guest room and I went back to my old pillow, unfortunately. Waste of money.

kind of thin
I would only recomend this pillow to someone who is wanting a very thin light pillow. I was expecting about twice as many feathers. When your head is on it, it seems only about 3 inches thick. The quality is good so I will keep to use as a layer pillow, over my other - too firm, not down pillow.

The pillow was advertised as medium firm. However, it is way too soft. I would not recommend buying this pillow if you are looking for a medium firm pillow as it is not.
