Dimensions
Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.
We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

We're Thrilled With Our New Down Comforter
I am SO pleased with this purchase. While some of the reviews made me leary, I ended up choosing this comforter based on fill weight and price. The king size down comforters on Overstock generally have a fill weight range of 29oz-60oz. This one has 45oz of down fill which is excellent for a mid-weight comforter - definitely the best value on Overstock that I could find. I'd imagine that I would be burning up if I had a 60oz weight down comforter! I'm actually replacing this comforter for a lighter weight one - the lighter weight one worked for me even through Pennsylvania winters in a very drafty apartment, so I'm sure this one will be more than sufficient year round in Kansas City. The fabric is extremely soft, feels very thick, and looks quite nice, especially for 280 thread count. It's almost a shame that we'll be covering it with a duvet, but our duvet is even softer and will keep the white comforter from getting dirty. While the comforter doesn't look quite as fluffy (or as perfectly ironed and smooth) as the one in the picture (duh, it's a professional merchant photograph), I'm quite happy with the thickness. I really have no complaints whatsoever and neither does my boyfriend. In fact, the first night with this comforter, my boyfriend must've said 25 times, "Oh my God, this blanket rules!" I couldn't agree more!

We Washed it....
My poor husband got this comforter in the mail (quickly too) and he thought he's help me out and get it washed so he could put it on our bed. AUGH!! I came home and there it was, all clumped up in each little square. I was certain it was ruined. So we pulled the down apart with our fingers and tossed it in the fluff cycle of the drier, and WOW! It was perfect! We've been sleeping under it ever since! We don't EVER recommend washing down - but I was VERY impressed by the way it held up after us washing it. From now on, it goes to the cleaners. But for all of you thinking about this purchase - do it! You won't be disappointed!

Disappointed
After only a few weeks we are dissappointed in the comforter. The edges have flattend and it isnt very full. The duvet looks empty.

Not loving it :(
I have bought down comforters from over stock befor and i loved the one i got, this time i was not so lucky. It never really poofed up like my last one did I'm already looking for a new one. Its flat and some of the pockets dont even seem to have filling even thought its desidned so it doesn't spread out its just like they were never filled in the 1st place. it is wram though but that could be partly because of my duevet cover. all n all i wont be recomending anyone else buy this down comforter.

Not what I expected
This comforter is certainly affordable, but I wouldn't recommend it. I wanted a lightweight down comforter that would not be too hot for my husband but would still be warm enough for me. I've bought lightweight down comforters before, and this one was a dissapointment. The down is not fluffy at all, which makes the comforter flat and not warm at all. When I am in bed, I literally feel like I have just my duvet cover on, and no duvet. Also, the fabric is too loud and not particularly soft. I love down comforters and have owned many; I'd say this one is a dud. Spend more and get more.

our comforter is the perfect weight . its not to hot or to cool . i love it ,i would tell anyone its nothing but great . overstock .com has the best prices and every purchase i have made for my bedding is very satisfying .

Good product for the money
For the money it's comfortable and looks nice. I would prefer it not be dry clean only but others have washed it in washing machine and come out ok I guess. I did notice some small stuffing come out but very minor and it was most likely already on the outside.

Very warm for winter, but feathers everywhere!
I find myself sweating at night, this duvet is so warm. While that may be great for winter, what will I do for summer? But the main thing I'm unhappy about is that the feathers are everywhere! They seep out of the duvet and its cover. I breathe them at night, they're stuck to all my clothes . . . Also, the duvet didn't fit right in the cover!
