This quilt is perfectly sized for my king sized bed. The colors are very pretty.Read More
We put this set on 2 iron twin beds in our sunroom at a cabin at our ranch. It's bright, cheery and the guests have commented on the nice weight of the quilt during the summer. I call the quilts like this a hot/cold blanket because they are keep you warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Toss a blanket under in the winter and you're good to go. We use this room for hunters in the fall and winter as well as sweet tween girls with their parents enjoying the weekends and the quilts have held up for a long time. I would recommend this line to anyone who needs a product to be used on a daily basis or vacation type. Big fan.Read More
Great quality, great price and arrived quickly!Read More
I was looking for a quilt that would be lighter weight for summer. I had shopped the outlet stores but had trouble finding one with matching king pillow shams. I also did not want a traditional patchwork quilt. This one is just what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The colors are good with our dark brown furniture and gold tone carpet and blanket. I even kept the black and gold bed skirt on and it blends well. We have blinds but no curtains in the room so the pattern is a welcome addition to brighten up the whole room. I washed it before using and it came out great. Took extra drying time because of the king size but no shrinkage or wrinkling. Very comfy and will look forward to using it every summer.Read More
This quilt arrived quickly. The color is very much the same as it appears on the website. The fabric quality is good. The quilt is sufficiently large to use with a thick mattress. I had seen this same quilt on other websites but Overstock.com had the best price.Read More
The overall product is good, lighter weight than expected from a King quilt however the biggest problem was the background was a dirty beige color not a cream background as my computer color showed. The background is more taupe and looks too drab for my bedroom. Even the teal and terracotta color designs did not make this a bright and clean looking quilt.Read More
Love this quilt set! The weight is just right. Add an extra blanket for winter, take it off in the summer and you can use it year-round. The colors are pretty much as pictured, the background may be slightly darker taupe. The accent colors of yellow, red/orange, and turquoise are subtle enough to downplay or accent depending on your color scheme. My room is a soft gold color and this looks very pretty in there. I was also very pleased with the width; I have a deep mattress and this quilt came down on the sides more that my last one did. It's also long enough to fold back the top edge so you can see the contrasting pattern on the other side. CONS: Only one accent pillow was available and I didn't want a white background. However, that said, I found that Overstock had Andorra throws so I bought two and made my own pillow, a footstool cover, and even window valances. The advantage to this is that I can now reverse them to contrast with whatever side of the quilt is up. You may not want to go to this much trouble for a pillow and solid colors will still look really nice, but I'm weird and I love the matching pieces :)Read More
The colors are very close to the picture but it surprised me that the background is more of an antique off-white. I actually like it better. This the most gorgeous bed cover I've ever had and it is very very retro. I have chocolate brown and gold accent pillows and it's perfect.Read More
Questions & Answers
light-weight, 100% cotton, larger than many king-size quilts
Need something lightweight for spring/summer, and these colors match my bedroom.
I believe it will go well in my bedroom. Good reviews
what color of bed skirt would match the best?
Hello peabody, I would suggest a cream color, ivory, creamy yellow, burnt orange or maybe brown. Thank you for shopping with us!
We used a cream colored bed skirt because we already had it, but used brown sheets and then found euro shams and a throw for the end of the bed in the robins-egg blue color that's in the quilt (not one of the main colors). It really lightens it up and makes it pop.
Is there any red/burgundy/wine color in this or is it just orange/rust? This is gorgeous, I just need to figure out whether it will go with our roman shades.
Hello austinmommy, I hope your day is going well. There are no reds in this quilt just oranges and rust. Have a great weekend and thank you for shopping with us.
Yes there is a wine color that's similar in tone to the rust. Half of the medallions are mostly the wine color. The overall effect is that you don't much of a difference between the rust and wine.
Will you be getting more in king size?
Hello, kelley199. Hope your day is going well. Items are restocked as they become available. Unfortunately, however, we cannot predict when or guarantee an item will be restocked. Please feel free to check back with us periodically to see if the item has returned. Thank you for shopping with us and contact us again with any further questions.
I just bought the Andorra 3-piece Quilt Set and am pleased with it except for that I cannot believe we can get the accent pillows, there is nowhere to get these, they look so pretty in the bed and I would just love to find them?
Hello marianna4566, I'm sorry those are just photo props we have. We do not have the documentation that shows where they came from. Thank you for shopping with us!
I was disappointed too, however they recently offered the Andorra throw and I bought two and made pillows, a stool cushion and valances for my windows. Simple straight stitch sewing required but the result was very nice :)
The picture has a lot more items then what is included in the set. Are the toss pillows available to purchace? Also which pillow shams come with the queen set - their are 2 pattens shown in the picture?
Hello stacy665, unfortunately this item is out of stock. We currently do not have inventory to check, and cannot guarantee the item will be restocked. Thank you for shopping with us.
The shams that come with it are standard size with the large medallion pattern. I haven't seen the Euro shams for sale anywhere. The square accent pillows I've seen at other sites online, but I use solid color gold and brown accent pillows and it's gorgeous.
How to Display a Quilt
Quilts are more than just bedding: They're also gorgeous pieces of art that can be used to decorate your home. A quilt makes a space seem warm and homey, and it's not hard to learn how to display quilts. By following these steps, you'll be showing off your quilts in no time.
Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
