First of all when I washed them and put them thru two rinse cycles, I threw a couple of hand towels in the second rinse cycle and the sheets bled all over them. I put the sheets in the dryer and they came out scratchy. I'm going to try to wash them again just to see if they can be salvaged. If not well then I guess I should have gone with the other reviewers that said these are the WORST SHEETS EVER!
These sheets are okay, but are thinner than I expected. The color is good and so far they have washed well. I like the hemstitching. They certainly are not as nice as Andiamo dobby check sheets (which were not available when I was shopping for these sheets) that I had bought several years ago. I will probably not buy these again.
after washing and putting on bed for 3 days, they are all pilly and when ordering it says for sheets up to 15 inch mattress when red'd the package says they fit 17 inch mattress. this was first time ordering from overstock and probably my last seeing i purchased to separate sheets sets and they both suck. dont waste your money one these.
I don't understand the logic behind the sheet set dimensions. The queen size fitted sheet is made to fit a mattress 60" wide and 15" deep; the accompanying flat sheet is 90" wide which means it covers the 60" width with 15" to hang on either side of the mattress. Problem is there is no additional material to tuck under the mattress and neatly make the bed or hold the sheets in place while sleeping. The manufacturer's spec on the depth of my mattress is 13". The fitted sheet was slightly too deep until I washed and dried it; then it shrunk down to just about the right size (a tad too small, but it does the job). I have no problem with the sheet material itself, I would just recommend the makers of these sheets to add a few more inches to the width to make them function properly.
my first set of these sheets started to show some wear. so I ordered another set. 1 set had always been ok, I could wash and hang out to dry, but now my husband spends alot of time in the bed, so I ordered a 3rd set so I could change the bed quickly. I love the feel of these sheets. I just wish that I could find extra pillow cases to match.
I odered sheets in the colour " Pacific Blue" they are more of a slate grey, darker than it looked on my computer but it's a nice colour so I don't mind. Kind of rough feeling after the first wash, but they will probably wear to a nice softness. Decent weight, not the thickest sheets ever but will hopefully last as long as my previous O.co sheets (5 years). seem to collect a lot of tiny feathers/lint maybe because they're so dark you just see all the lint more?
