I have at least a half dozen down comforters nicely packed up in vacuum bags, now lving in the back of a closet and likely never to be used again. Why? Most are covered with a crinkly material that sounds and feels like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Others soft enough to "make the cut" of actually getting to live on a bed for a while end up losing feathers constantly. It wasn't until Overstock's Microfiber down comforter came into my life that everything about a great comforter came together in one package: exquisitely SOFT cover, no crinkling sound, no loss of feathers through the tightly woven--and did I mention SOFT?--fabric cover. This is a TEN star comforter, and I'm sorry I could only give it five stars in this review. I'm going to order another for the guest room now. What a great product, and at such a reasonable price. After 6 years of purchasing and packing away comforters offering one disappointment after another, I have found the "perfect" one here, and cannot imagine finding a better one. If pressed, I would say the only change I would make is to offer this product in a wider range of colors. I wouldn't want to use a duvet cover with it because I have yet to find a duvet cover as soft as the cover already on the comforter. The covering on the Overstock comforter reminds me of the sheets my mother washed hundreds of times, becoming so soft we children fought over which one of us got the set with the ugly flowers on them. We were only interested in stretching out under that incredible softness. Now, I've found that same softness again--with no ugly, faded flowers on it!

I am very disapointed with this comforter. The little filling that it has does not stay in place, settling unevenly. I try unsucessfully to cuddle and get warm with the pieces of empty fabric. It is like a thin blanket. Keep searching...

I am very disappointed in this comforter. When I first put it on my bed, it seemed wonderful...light but warm and fluffy. Within a few days, however, all the down seemed to shift to the edges of the comforter. Now, when I am under the covers, the part of the comforter that comes up to my chest is merely two pieces of fabric sewed together. The down does not appear to stay within the sections that are sewn together, in orfer to divide the comforter into small sections. I actually want to return this comforter.

I ordered this comforter for my guest bedroom, and the weight is perfect; not suffocatingly hot, but cozy. The microfiber material is very soft and that's also a plus. But I ordered in blue because I hate using a duvet, and the blue that I got is not the blue that's pictured. It's more of a very slightly greenish-blue, or maybe verging on gray, but definitely not the baby blue I expected. So I'll be stuffing it into a duvet after all. Still, overall, a very nice comforter and colors on a computer screen can be tricky. And O is always wonderful about returns, so it's not like I couldn't have sent it back. I'm not unhappy with it, I would just advise that buyers not get too excited about the color as it appears on the screen.

This is my first purchase from Overstock and truly regret not ordering from here long ago. The comforter arrived within a few days. It's very soft, perfect size for our bed and keeps us warm at night. We might even get another color soon.

I am happy with this down comforter. It keeps me warm without overheating and it is very lightweight. I read all the reviews on this and actually the one that sold me on buying it was the lady who said this comforter was not "crinkly" as in noisy. All the down comforters I have gotten have been so noisy I cannot use them so I bought this one because of that. I have to say that is is a little bit "crinkly" but not obnoxiously so; not bad enought to put it in the closet and look for another blanket. I only really notice this when I first get into bed and have never been waken up by it. If you are looking for a nice comforter, this is a good one.

I purchased this comforter for my son to take to college for use on his dorm bed. The comforter looked very "fluffy" in the picture, but in fact, is very thin. The fabric is nice and soft, but when I took the comforter out of the box and held it up in front of the window, I immediately saw the sparse "down" filling interspersed haphazardly throughout. The covering is very thin and the down filling even thinner. I will be returning this comforter tomorrow.

I have had this light weight comfortor for THREE years now. The microfiber is awesome, especially if you're like my husband and I and hate that crinkling sound you get with many down comforters. This one does not crinkle. After three years and about a hundred washes there has been some shifting of the down, but in all honesty it is nothing when I think of the wear and tear my family has put it through. It is a quality piece of merchandise. This is light weight comforter. For warm climates. It is thin. Read the description. If you want some ginormous, plumped up comforter, look elsewhere.

All of the reviews were right about being too thin, but since we live in Atlanta that wasn't the big concern. The COLOR however is nothing like this picture!! We ordered blue for our son's room and it looks like a grayish-green! Odd. It is soft and not noisy, like other reviews suggest. Generally our purchases from Overstock exceed our expectations, but this is way below. There wasn't even a shipping invoice in the box.

I expected this comforter to be a little lighter- being an all-season comforter and all, but it is much lighter than I expected. Even after diligent fluffing. It'll be nice in the Summer.

No odd smell, no fuss. Just great comfort. Highly recommend this product to others.

I was supprised how light it is it tends to slide off the bed

The outside fabric and stitching are the only good things about these. I purchased them for twoyoung granddaughers and they were gifts. I would have returned them except I felt that since the kids were small they might be warm enough. There is not enough loft in these (you can see through them when held up to a window). Not good quality since there is hardly any down stuffing. Don't buy these!

The little bit of fill this does have is all on the edges. The middle has nothing. I bought this because it had 4+ star reviews. I give it a one, and had to spend $xx returning it. :( It was a bummer Christmas present for my parents.

I have this comforter 3 stars because it was constructed well and the fabric seemed nice, and the price was nice for a King comforter. However, it was really flat..very little filling. It looks fluffier in the picture. Also, I forgot to measure it before I sent it back, but it was much too narrow for my King bed and so I am pretty sure it didn't measure what the specs say it should have.

This product is misrepresented. It is not MADE IN USA. It is Made in China.

Fantastic value for the money. I live in Central Maine and it is plenty warm for me. It's soft and fluffs up nicely. Lightweight but does the job. Would def buy again.

Soft, fluffy, feels almost illegal. Have several of the down blankets, hesitated getting the comforter because some are cumbersome and heavy. This one is not. Wish I had ordered more when King sizes were available.

I love this comforter! The material is very soft and it is a warm, but light comforter. I used it in the winter with an electric blanket turned on just for a few minutes and stayed wonderfully warm all night long. Perfect weight in the summer to use as well. I bought the sage green and was very pleased with the soft green color. A great buy at a fabulous price.

I bought this comforter because my husband absolutely loves down comforters, but I don't particularly like a heavy comforter. Finding something to make us both happy is always a chore...but...this one is PERFECT for the climate we live in (Florida) He stays toasty and I do not get too hot. If you are looking for a big fluffy comforter, this is not your item...it is kind of thin, but like I said, perfect for where we live. When it arrived, it was a bit stiff, but that is to be expected. I shook it out a couple times and that took care of that....it is now sooo soft and comfy. I love it! Also, for the price, I'd say this is a great buy! I'll be purchasing another for our guest room!!!
