Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.

Heaven
This comforter is like sleeping in a cloud. It took a couple of days to fluff up as down comforters will, but is very soft and really comfortable. Received it in about a week and it didn't smell funny or anything like that. The material isn't very soft, it's almost a canvas feel, but if you have it in a duvet cover, it's just fine and feels very durable.I'm always cold and this comforter keeps me nice and warm at night, but seems to be on the warm side for my husband, who's always hot. I look forward to having this for a long time to come.

NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE PICTURE
I ordered this "COMFORTER" because of the description and picture. I just opened the box to wrap the gift for my brother for christmas and its barely a blanket. I thought it was vacuum sealed because the box was smaller. Its no thicker than a bedspread. Its going back. NOT AS PICTURED! Misleading!!!

not much down
this down comforter is missing but a couple feathers of down in many of the squares in the middle, where the majority of the insulation is needed. i didn't feel like returning it so we're using it for my daughter, but I would never buy it again and would not recommend it to anyone else. i may fold it in half and sew it in place to make a toddler down comforter -- then it may have enough insulation to keep a small body warm.

Light featherbed
I'm so glad I purchased this featherbed! I live in Florida and have purchased several, top of the line, expensive feather beds in the past and had to take them right off the bed because they were just too hot and heavy. This one is perfect! When I initially unpacked it, I did panic a little because it looked too thin and flimsy but once I fluffed it up, it was great. I've had mine for about 6 months now and the quality has held up nicely. I plan to purchase a second one in the near future.

Soft and cozy-
I had a twin down comforter that I purchased many years ago for over a hundred dollars. My children would argue over it so I wanted to get another one. This was a cheap way to solve the problem and I didn't expect much from it. As soon as it arrived I opened it outside- fluffed it out and let it air out for the day. It was ready to use that night (without any chemical smell) and it is difficult to tell the difference between my original comforter and this one.

Love this!!
This comforter is thin but perfect for Florida, it gets cold with AC on 24/7 and this is just the perfect weight. I read a bunch of the reviews and I'm glad I went for it anyway. If your looking for a fat fluffy comforter, this isn't it. But it's perfect weight for me & my husband. It's warm when you need it and not too warm you feel like you are going to sweat to death. LOVE IT!
