Wonderful feeling sheets
 from USA,  Jan 2, 2008

I bought these in the scarlet. They are a beautiful red and soooo smooth and comfortable. I washed them in cold water as directed and dried them on low heat. I did that before I put them on my bed. They are plenty deep but I wouldn't wash and dry them in hot. I would recommend these sheets to anyone.

not terribly impressed
 from Ooooooklahoma,  Feb 1, 2009

These sheets don't feel like the usual 600 thread count sheets. They're very thick and almost feel flannel-y. If you're looking for the crisp, sleek feel of high thread count sheets, these aren't the sheets you're looking for. If you're looking for sheets that feel like they'll last a really long time, these might be for you. They feel very tough and strong. They fit my (queen-size) extra-deep mattress quite well. The sheets are single-sided, in that the reverse side is unfinished and probably not as comfortable in skin contact (referring to the flat sheet). When washed and dried the sheets shrunk irregularly, making it difficult to get the pillow cases to sit right on the pillows. They also wrinkle very badly, more so than my other 100% cotton sheets. Finally, the wedgwood blue is more of a bright sky blue than the muted grey-blue of true wedgwood, and it turned out not to go well with my slate blue comforter. I think these are good sheets, just not great ones and not what I expected for 600tc.

Comfort Good but won't stay together
from Charleston, WV,  Mar 21, 2008

I love the feel of the fabric but I have already had to sew the sheets three times. The thread came loose on the flat sheet at the head and I had to sew it to fix it. And on the fitted sheet the thread is coming apart where it fits around your mattress. There nice but would not recommend because they fall apart to easy.

Doesn't feel like 600 thread count
from Makakilo, Hawaii,  Dec 20, 2007

Received these sheets & washed them. They look great but they are not very soft..Hoping after a few more washes they soften up. Even my husband commented on our other sheets are softer and they have a lower thread count. I would not recommend these sheets because for a 600 thread count it is not as soft as my 400 thread count sheets.

shrinking sheets
 from Wisconsin,  Dec 17, 2007

These sheets pilled in the first 10 days of usage.. I washed them in warm water and cold rinse and put in the dryer. They shrunk so much that I had a fight on my hands to get them on the Mattress.. and they are barely on right now. I've never had this happen before. Do not buy these sheets..this is the first time I've been this disappointed.

The real thing
 from Mid-Atlantic,  Sep 21, 2007

So I've heard that you can advertise as Egyptian Cotton with as little as 5% in the sheets. Well these are 100% Egyptian Cotton 600 tc sheets made with singly ply yarns. You know how you think you're getting a great deal on the 1200 tc sheets? Well those are 3 and 4 ply yarns so they are only really 300-400 tc sheets. Some companies cheat on how they label their merchandise. These are the real deal, super soft right out of the package. I got the Scarlet and they are beautiful!

super sleeper
from Canton, GA,  Dec 25, 2008

I make a habit of washing any new purchase before I use it. The sheet washed beautifully, it came out soft and easy on the hand. We have slept on it for about a week now, and it feels wonderful. Much better quality than the sheets I had purchased at one of those great big guys. berni

Great Sheets at a Great Price
from Tampa, Florida,  Apr 1, 2008

I have been buying sheets from Overstock for several years! You can not beat the comfort of sheets from 300 to 600 thread count. Higher than that is over kill and under that you can go to the department store. The sheets are very comfortable but do have a tendency to make you warmer. They hold the heat. Excessive washing will cause the sheets to develop knots. Buying several sets and rotating them makes you forget about that problem. Only shortcoming is they don't offer extra sets of pillow cases.

600 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set
from Slidell, LA,  Feb 11, 2008

I loved these sheets until the second washing. I washed them as directed, but the elastic in the fitted sheet broke and now the fitted sheet no longer stayes in place on my mattress.

For the price
 from VA,  Dec 17, 2007

it's a decent deal. My only complaint is that the flat sheet and the fitted sheet weren't exactly the same colors. I bought some 800 thread counts locally that feel a lot more substantial and fit my 14 in mattress a LOT better. These were a pretty tight fit, so if you have a thick mattress, you might want to keep looking. Overall, I think they'll work out well, especially for the price.

Make a Man Remember
 from Oregon,  Dec 7, 2007

These sheet are wonderful. I gave them as a gift to my boyfriend. Every time he crawls into bed, he has to tell me how much he loves his sheets. They are excellent sheets. Silky comfort and heavy durablility. You know they will last. I got them in the blue color, very light, crisp and pretty The best part is they remind him of me every night.

Egyptian bed sheets
 from Miami,  Nov 10, 2007

The product that we purchased is of the best quality that one can find in the market . The same product bought locally would have cost us 4 to 5 times what we paid for and of aninferior quality .

Sheets
from Goodyear, Az,  Nov 7, 2007

They are very comfortable, beautiful and oh so soft. The only thing better is the 1000 count. I am spoiled and now won't buy anything less than 600 thread count. You have a great product and you can count on me as a permanent customer. Thank you so much.

very thick and comfy
from New Jersey,  Nov 5, 2007

These sheets are a great value. I'm very pleased with my purchase. They wrinkle easily, but who cares? No one will see my sheets except me anyway. I do wish they were a little wider...I got the full size sheets for my full size bed and I can't tuck the sides under because it isn't wide enough. They are plenty long enough though. Overall, a great value and a good investment. Excellent quality and nice and thick and soft!

Soooo soft and luxurious!!!
 from TX,  Oct 31, 2007

These were the second set I've ordered. They are soooo soft and luxurious. Don't let the price fool you. These sheets are even better then some of the high end hotels I've stayed in.

Nice Sheets
 Oct 16, 2007

I like the sheets slightly better than the 600 and 1000 count standard cotton. However, I prefer the silky feel of the 440 Egyptian cotton with a different weave.

The Best Deal on Overstock's
from Brookings, Oregon,  Oct 13, 2007

These sheets are amazing. Like sleeping on a satin but with the feel of a nice heavy-weight silk. Those that say these sheets are not soft or think they are stiff must like polyester content in their sheets. I've never felt any 100% cotten sheets, any where in the world that were better. No 5-star hotels have better. I have always slept with those saatin pillow cases rather than regular cases because they weren't smooth and soft. Not any more. With this fabric I use the pillow cases due to their satiny feel. You just can't get better sheets, even for a couple hundred dollars. I now have two sets. The threads are so tightly woven one would need a magnifying glass to even see a thread. The Wedgewood blue is very rich looking and more lux looking than the ivory I bought early. Yes, they wrinkle a bit but they are 100% cotton. If you want sheets that don't wrinkle get a cotton/poly blend.
