Threshold sheets at Target are the same ($40-60) price, 100% cotton, and look better as far as stitching. However, for sheets going on a guest bed, these won't be washed as often, so I'm not worried about piling. They feel comfortable, but no where near as silky as 100% cotton. Let me help you with the color... Apricot (NOT ORANGE) is like a gold light mustard yellow Berry is more like a Red Violet than purple Spice, I was informed, is like a rust orange, so a brown based orange Silver is gray Blue is blue Green is green White is white
I was not too sure if I liked the quality just by the feel. After the initial wash, I placed them on the bed I fell in love with them. I have a 4" gel filled mattress pad and the depth was great and they did not slip off. The color was just like it showed on line.
I made sure before I ordered these sheets that they would fit my mattress. The description said they would fit a 15 inch mattress, but they don't. We can't keep them on the bod corners. I love the silky feel of them, but having to remake the bed every morning is maddening!
On screen, they have the colors mislabeled. The one they labeled "apricot" is actually spice. The one they labelled "spice" on screen is actually apricot. I ordered the one labeled "apricot" thinking it was going to be the darker, orange/pumpkiny color you see on the screen. NOT ACCURATELY LABELED! Disappointed. I ordered the sheets for a vacation home, and by the time I got ready to transport and opened the sheets, it was too late. I'm stuck with this dreadful apricot color. Bleh.
These sheets arrived with loose stitching and straggling threads hanging off everywhere - they are very poorly sewn. They are are also very rough and itchy cotton - a rip off for 400 thread count! If you're looking for soft sheets that will last a while, don't get these!
