Great!
 from Boston,  Mar 29, 2013

This is a very soft lightweight down blanket. Not to be confused with a comforter. It's a 4 season blanket for New England and I just love it. In the winter months I do add a down comforter with it and it's still very light weight on my body. I can't say enough about this type of blanket. I will never use another type.

Beautiful Blanket
from west lafayette IN,  Mar 28, 2013

Bought this in ivory and very happy with it. We prefer a down blanket to a comforter. In the winter we use two and just one in the summer. This is as very generous twin! It covers the top of our queen-size bed. My idea in purchasing a twin was to add extra warmth to just one side, but it's working out and we're happy. Would love to have this in a queen size.

No ckicken feathers
 from WI,  Jan 1, 2013

I fluffed this by placing it in the dryer and let it tumble for 15 minutes. Some down filled products have feathers that will poke through the fabric- those feathers have a strong filament and may be chicken feathers and not real down. I have used this for one month and no feathers are slipping through the blanket fabric. I assume it is real down. I have had other down filled products; a winter vest, and down slippers. My down slippers gave me a horrible skin rash from the feathers poking me. I have a severe allergy to chicken feathers. I was tested by a specialist for allergies. These facts lead me to endorse this blanket as authentic high quality down.

Down blanket
 from Vermont,  Dec 19, 2012

These blanket have the right amount of warmth, but the covers have pilled within a few months of usage. I had also ordered 2 king size last year and the same thing happened. Would not recomment these

Nice down blanket!
from Seattle, WA,  Oct 19, 2012

Remember that this is a blanket, not a comforter. A great, light-weight alternative to a heavy comforter. Nice quality, as described.

Great Value
from Burlington, VT,  Oct 2, 2012

These down blankets are a great value! They are perfect alone in the summer and under another blanket in the winter. I couldn't find a better price for down. I do wish it had the satin edging all around the blanket. I ended up ordering a second one.

Great buy!
from Olympic Peninsula, Washington,  Sep 1, 2012

I was very happy with the quality and weight of this down blanket. This is a great choice for summer use when a normal down comforter is just too hot.

Good for summer
from Wine Country, Oregon,  Aug 21, 2012

I bought these as coverlet/summer blankets for my grandkids during their visit here in July. This is OREGON and it is summer....you still need a blanket! I have a trundle bed they use when they come and wanted matching coverlets and a little warmth. These are THIN down blankets. Probably not much warmer than a fleece blanket. But the fabric is nice, color is good....they felt cozy. The kids liked them.

Down Blanket
from Indio, CA,  May 22, 2012

Love it! Bought two. We actually use them as a top sheet on our king size split XL mattresses. Needed something a little heavier than a sheet but not as heavy as a comforter. Also put them in the washing machine and so far they are holding up great.

disappointed!
 from MA/ME,  May 17, 2012

I bought this for a guest bed, but the satin goes down the EDGES instead of the top and bottom. It also doesn't say on the website that this is duck down, not goose down.

Nice
from Los Angeles Area,  May 1, 2012

These down blankets are the best. We live in L.A. area so you never get super cold nights. Moving from the Midwest, all our comfortors were much to heavy. I puchased 1 twin size and 1 king. They are just warm enough and they look great. As a matter of fact, I use this as my comfortor/bedspread.

Blanket binding was applied to wrong sides
from Southern CA,  Mar 15, 2012

The blanket quality was average/fair (some remaining threads and strings were apparent) and delivered promptly. I missed the fact that it had to be dry-cleaned, My only complaint is that the blanket binding ran along the side of the blanket not at the top and bottom making for an odd look when the bed was made. I am returning this item.

Perfect for top blanket
 from Arizona,  Feb 28, 2012

I've looked a long time for a real down blanket with a cotton cover. This is it. It's the perfect weight to pull up when the night gets chilly or just need a little more warmth without al the hassle of blankets. Very good quality, exceptional value and price, and I've bought 4 for different beds. They are thin, remember. This is not a big poofy comforter, but a light, warm addition when you need a little something extra. The colors are warm and chic, not cheap-looking. I especially like the cream and sage.

A little disappointed but kept it anyway
from Guelph, Ontario, Canada,  Feb 15, 2012

The colour is exactly as described and featured on the website and matched exactly a bedspread I ordered last year, so that pleased me mightily. However, the satin binding is only on the 2 long sides. It would have been nice to see it also on one short end. Since this is advertised as fitting an extra-long mattress (i.e. 80 inches long) I was disappointed to find that there is very little 'tuck-in' allowance. It should be about 12 inches longer to accommodate today's thicker mattresses.

Good blanket for the price
 from ny,ny,  Feb 12, 2012

I just needed a light weight down blanket for my 5 year old. It was priced right but if I were doing it again, I would have gotten something thicker.

A little flat down blanket
 from Connecticut,  Jan 25, 2012

I ordered these twin down blankets for our guest room. I was disappointed in the loft of the down. Pretty flat. The satin binding is on the sides which I thought a little strange. For the guest room, they will do but I would not purchase this down blanket for every night warmth.

great gift idea
from Daytona Florida,  Jan 14, 2012

These blankets are great! Not super heavy, just perfect! I wanted to get one for each of my siblings for Christmas and they were a hit! I know I could have gotten a heavier down blanket but we live in Florida so even though it can get cold here in the winter, a really heavy count down is more for the mid-west or North-West or North-East. Also great in the warmer months as a throw and if you're like me, I keep my home cool (72F) in the summer, while on the sofa watching a movie!
