Purchased this pacifer for my new grandson. My daughter is breastfeeding and this brand pacifer, Soothie, but without the toy attached, was given to her by the hospital. What is great about the WubbaNub is the baby can hold on to the toy and when the pacifer slips from his mouth, he can push it back to his mouth--at only a few months. So in addition to helping soothe him, it also is a little exercise for hand and finger dexterity and brain function. My daughter just washes it with his clothes. I've purchased a couple of styles - red dog, monkey and lamb.

The wubbanub is a MUST for all parents. The hospital gave our baby a silicone paci, which she preferred but couldn't keep from popping it out. Therefore, at night we were up more than usual to put the paci back in her mouth. I even slept with my arm in her bed to hold the paci in while she slept! My cousin told me about these and I thought it was worth a try. It was lifesaver! She loved it and the weight of animal is just enough to keep in her mouth, but is extremely light too. I immediately bought another for backup. My daughter is a year old now and when she takes a paci, she still wants this one!
