I was home sick from work one day and put it together myself at 7 months pregnant. I missed that the A and B sides were different in the instructions, but I'm blaming that on pregnancy brain. I thought it went together really well. The only real problem I had was that the screws didn't want to stay in the dowels very well for the hamper, so we needed to use some wood glue to finish that up, so I'm rating as four stars. I thought it matched great with the white Emi crib I also got from Overstock. I don't notice a color difference.
Arrived quickly. only 2 small issues - one of the screws for the dowels (on the hamper) did not fit, so we needed to use wood glue and a new screw from our tool box. There was a small chip/splinter on the inside of the changing area that needed to be sanded and touched-up with paint. Overall, the changing table seems sturdy, I also ordered a white Emi 4-in-1 crib. The whites of the two pieces, while not an exact match, are a close match and work well together. Overall, I'm pleased with the puchase of the Emi crib and this changing table for under $450...elsewhere crib and changing table would have cost us around $600- $700.
This changing table looks great, but my husband had a hard time putting it together. The instructions are very difficult to follow. However, it looks great, especially with the white Emi crib I also purchased from Overstock. I have not used yet as baby is still on the way.
