I'm actually using this in my bathroom. It's a smaller bathroom with light yellow walls. The vanity and cupboard are both a dark mahogany, so this valance fit right in. It's a very heavy fabric, so it doesn't look "cheap."

I absolutely love this valance! - Colors are dark brown, Khaki, Gold and White. - Earth tone and neutral for boy or girl. - Different material texture patches When I saw this set online I had thought it had olive green in it but it turns out to the gold. A pretty gold though. Overall I am very very happy with this product.
