Our grandaughter took to it the first time she was in it, amusing herself with the "Gym" type dangles and in 10 minutes was sound asleep in a comfortable position. This was the first time that the new parents had encountered that they could actually not be constantly holding her or tending to her immediate needs.. It's great ! The seating pad is very comfortable feeling but seems durable and very importantly "machine washable" .. She gets just the right "bounce" when flailing for the dangling toys without fear of tipping. The "Thanks" I got from the kids on this one made it well worth the reasonable price paid.
