The moses basket was really great. I bought this even though the lining and all was not what I wanted, but I had fabric here I liked. So when it arrived I took out the stiches to use the origonal pieces as a pattern. Having said this, the basket, fabric and stitching were all of good quality. My husband was a little leary of a moses basket, but even he is very satisfied with the quality of this product.

I like moses baskets. My wife and I have found that this suits our needs perfectly. We keep the baby next to our bed in the basket on an ottoman, so we don't have to make room for large furniture or walk all over the apartment to tend to her when she needs us. It is lightweight and easily portable, so we can take her into another room or on the road if we want. All the bassinets we saw were kind of cheap and flimsy; your infant will get the same mattress and space to sleep in a moses basket but without the flimsy legs and precarious high center of gravity. Baskets are cheaper and more portable and we are very happy with ours. Baby sleeps well and so far hasn't complained.
