I purchased this gate to place in a hallway that is 5 feet wide. It works well, especially given that our home is 106 years old and nothing is exactly level in it. We were able to install the gate with no problems. It creates a semi-circle that attaches to the wall on each side. My 4 year old is able to open and close the gate easily, but it keeps the baby contained. Mission accomplished!Read More
