The valence is cute - maybe a little too $$.Just wanted to point out that the measurements given are not accurate. The valence is 52" x 18". I had to order an additional valence after receiving the original shipment to make the window look right.

I LOVE these valances, they are the cherry on top of my little girls new "big girl" room. She is 4 and just moved out of the nursery. There is a little of everything in them, pink gingham, stripes, pink ruffle, and white. I'm really happy with this purchase.

I bought (2) of these for my 2 1/2 year old's room. We just converted her from the crib to a big girl bed. The valances match perfectly with the new bedspread that we also bought. I like the fact that everything should last her for many years to come and is not too babyish.
