Good seat but BEWARE when buying it from overstock
Car seat is great...canopy a little flimsy but offers good coverage...at least the same as other infant seat. The straps are a little thinner then some other seats we looked at which doesn't not affect safety but seems to possibly twist a little easier if you are not careful. Fabric is nice, plush, soft. The removable head support seems sturdy enough to actually support compared to some other brands we looked at... HOWEVER buyer beware that while you think you might be saving some money by purchasing this seat from overstock, vs other online stores, but what you will find out when you open the box is that they are selling a seat that is already 2 years old. The one we just received was manufactured in March of 2010 (It's now Feb 2012). Car seats are only good for 6 years, and hospitals will not even let you leave for with an expired or nearly expired seat!! So if you plan to have more then one child...beware, you will likely need to purchase a different seat for your next child. Bottom line...not worth saving the 25.00 over other sites that have currently manufactured seats. To give overstock the benefit, I did call customer service and talk to them about this issue and they couldn't give me any answers or reasons. They didn't have a more recent one that I could exchange it for and they were not willing to even give me an additional 10% off to help "cover" the fact that this seat is now only good for 4 years instead of the 6 years you assume you are purchasing(which I thought was a fair request). The only thing they were able to says was, "should I start the return paper work for you". I would have loved to have said yes, but I am currently on hospital bed rest with a baby who could be delivered any day and I don't have time to order the seat from another site and wait for it to be delivered. I am so disappointed overstock!

Not perfect, but excellent in many ways
The seat is indeed large and bulky, but I found it to be much lighter than other infant carseats we've had. The included infant supports are terrific in holding the baby in place, and the seat can easily grow with a growing baby. The material helps the baby not get as hot, which is a nice bonus. The safety features are top of the line. This seat is also great for babies that grow quickly in weight and especially length, so they can still fit within the seat before they can legally move into a convertible carseat. With taller kids, I always had trouble with my kids getting too long & heavy for the seat before they turned 1. This seat accomodates all sizes. The included shade is also slightly larger than other shades we've had. However, like one of the previous reviews, our seat was manufactured in April 2010 (we purchased in April 2012). TWO YEARS out of date. We can only use this for 4 years instead of 6. The infant seat very easily & securely goes in and out of the car base. However, it has a different shape than other infant seats we've owned and does not fit any of the strollers we have. We have other children and have a Sit and Stand double stroller, and this infant seat does NOT fit into that stroller. We'll be looking into getting another stroller that will hold this seat. All in all, a great seat with terrific features and for the price discount, a good purchase even just for 4 years of use.

Nice infant carrier, bigger than I thought.
I think this infant carrier has a very sleek design. I don't like pink or blue or brown/tan infant carriers. Plus it goes with my car's interior. Of course, the safety features are great. It fits on my new Jeep stroller frame. It is a bit heavy, and I did not realize it was a bit bigger than most carriers. I still wanted to keep it because more than likely my little one will be a big boy/girl and I can keep it for longer use.

This infant car seat is perfect - exactly the sames as what's available in the baby stores, but much less cost. Shipped quickly. Great quality. So happy I stumbled across this at O.co!
