I would like to use this as a third side to a cot in a very small single bed inset to the wall. The usual bed rails for toddlers are too small as she is still very much in the cot at home and she could climb straight out of those (and there is no alternative space for a travel cot). Do you think this could serve the purpose? Thanks in advance.
Love it, savior to my kitchen being destroyed by a 2 year old!...

Good tension, strong frame. Fabric mesh is perfect; too small for little fingers to poke through but holes are large enough to see through. Have come to appreciate Safety First brand through many of their other products.Read More
I use this gate to separate my dog from the living room. I don't use the "pressure " system; I open it to 60" and lean it across the wall. My dog can still see me but is not allowed out from that area. It is light weight and the way I use it I can it falls. but I still think it is better than the conventional baby/dog gates.Read More
I didn't expect this "soft" gate to be so nice. I was pleasantly surprised. The screen is a mesh, so your pet can see through it....although it would not withstand clawing and chewing. It has padded sleeves above and below the gate. It is very easy to put together and even comes with a cloth drawstring storage jacket. What I like best about this gate is that you can roll it up and stash it out of the way when no longer needed.Read More
This product works well in a doorway without moldings and does not work well when stretched to its widest width. It's mesh center and beige color help to make it as invisible as possible for a gate.Read More
I am using this gate every day to separate my dog and my grandson, though never are very happy about that. This gate stays in place, even with my grandson pulling himself up on it. Would definitely recommend this for anyone with a large doorway or opening that doesn't want to use screws to hold it up. Holds in place with pressure bars.Read More
the gate fits perfectly in the space where i wanted it, which is exactly 60 inches. it was super easy to assemble, and looks great, very discreet. lets my 20-month old play in the living room without being able to reach the front door and stairs. very good product for its price and i'm super happy with my purchase!Read More
Excellent quality pressure mounted gate for wide doorways. Doesn't leave marks on wall and it is easy to put up and take down. Good for children or pets. We've used it for both. DO NOT USE AT TOP OF STAIRWAY! Always make sure tension rods are tight to avoid accidents.Read More
This is just what we needed to close off the large space between the kitchen and family room so we are able to confine our pouch to the kitchen when she's not well and keep her off the carpeting. This one opening was just too big for the normal gates; this is easily set up and expands just perfectly.Read More
Purchased this gate for our wide staircase opening. It works well between the walls & the awkward dimensions at the top of the staircase due to steps. As always, be cautious with your children, the gate IS FABRIC but the tension bars do hold well.Read More
Questions & Answers
Hello marp80, I hope your day is going well. We do not recommend using this product for something that it was not designed for. Thank you for shopping with us.
Can these be attached to each other to create a play yard?
Hello hatsberg, We're sorry, but they can't be used like that. Thanks for shopping with us.
I would like to use this for my small (but feisty) dachshund who broke the last gate I had. I thought this might be a nice alternative since I don't want him hurting himself by biting it, but am curious if those who have it think he might be able to rip or push his way through it?
It is cloth - he might be able to tear it if he clawed at it enough, but the cloth is like heavy sailcloth so I don't know how sharp his claws might be. Might be a consideration for this - but I would think it would be better than a mesh one.
Hello atrilli02, Another reviewer stated that "This is just what we needed to close off the large space between the kitchen and family room so we are able to confine our pouch to the kitchen". Thanks for shopping with us.
can you set it lower so its not so high

A gentle assortment of cotton, flannel or organic fabric can provide your child with a cozy place to rest, play and recharge.
Stroller Buying Guide
Choosing your baby stroller comes down to your baby's comfort and your lifestyle. There are a few features that any safe stroller should have: a wide wheel base for stability, safety straps to hold your baby in place, and maneuverable wheels. Beyond that, you should determine what you need your stroller to do and where you need it to go. Do you want a baby stroller that will let you go for a jog or one that you can take shopping? Are you looking for a stroller you can take traveling or would you just like to easily take walks around the neighborhood? Luckily, there are plenty of styles of strollers to choose from to fit your lifestyle.
Luggage Requirements on International Flights
Traveling internationally can be stressful. Even with extensive planning, unexpected annoyances can create turbulence. The friendly skies may be smooth sailing once you're in the air, but much of the frustration can occur before you even reach the gate. Since 2001, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the United States, as well as security agencies in other countries, has tightened restrictions on what passengers can carry in their luggage. The key to having a hassle-free airport experience is to be prepared and know airline luggage policies before you travel.

Best Reasons to Consider Convertible Car Seats
You can choose from a variety of car seats for your baby. Convertible car seats are an excellent choice because you can use them for many years and they allow your child to remain in the safest rear-facing position longer than some traditional car seats. A convertible car seat "grows" with your child, and most baby convertible car seats can be used until your child weighs 40 pounds. Some convertible baby car seats can safely hold children who weigh up to 80 pounds. Baby convertible car seats are a good investment because they generally last longer than traditional car safety seats. An infant car seat that converts into car safety seat for an older baby or child will also waste fewer materials than other types of baby car seats, so they are generally better for the environment. Use our tips to decide if a convertible infant car seat is the right choice for your family.

To keep your kids as safe as possible, make sure you follow these safety tips and make sure your children's beds meet the following safety guidelines.
