Not as advertised on Overstock.com website.
Made of unreinforced low-grade plastic, only. Was unable to withstand shipping without being permanently bent, and there was no protective packaging other than a single layer light corrugated cardboard box. Two of three units ordered were unusable and had to be replaced. I retained the two unusable units and packaging for 2-weeks per request by Overstock.com so that the shipper could inspect them. The shipper never attenpted to inspect, so after 2-1/2 weeks they were disposed. Also, two of the units shipped without mounting screws (I had to buy some separately at the hardware store). Overall experience and satisfaction on scale of 1-10, ... a "2".

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Low quality plastic, not reinforced with metal. Overstock.com describes the item as plastic and metal (which is not accurate). I would not have oredered them if I knew they wer lightweight low-quality plastic.

Great for the money
I wanted to put these on my screen door to keep the dogs from tearing the screen. They did the job perfectly.

The protecters are great for my use. I have small dogs that like to tear my new screens out of our doors. now they can't get to the screens to damage them.

The screen saver accomplishes its purpose -- in my case, to keep children's hands and dogs' noses off the screen. But the fit on the door is not very good. in particular, the placement of the holes for screws.

Did the trick
I like this door saver a lot. My cats were clawing at the screen and I had just installed the door. This was quick and easy to install.
