Safety 1st Vantage Booster Car Seat in Triton

we needed a bigger seat, as our soon to be 3 year old did not fit confortably in his current chair. The wife wanted a forward facing chair with 5 point harness. The bonus was that it came with an adjustable head rest, cup holder with a closing storage compartment and as our son gets bigger, we will be able to convert it to more of a booster, using only a seat belt like a grown up. Nice transition chair. Only negative is that our son does not seem quite as confortable but he is adjusting and we feel he is safe with this new chair.

At this level, this seat is totally sufficient. Looks good - and for the price - it's great. Child will grow with it as it goes from 5 point harness to seat positioner. Only negative to that is that the child is kind of small in the seat at the beginning (doesn't reach headrest) -but this isn't really much of a problem. His head does hang to the side/down a bit while sleeping ... but he doesn't seem to mind. Our boy is about 35 inches and 30 lbs -and the seat is fine.only major drawback is it is pretty hard to get the cover off to wash it (you have to take out every one of the black plastic pieces around the straps, all the pieces to the buckle, the headrest- and while potty training, this is a definite negative if you're not using pull-ups.

I'm very pleased with this booster. It's stylish, easy to install and has a lot a features that work for our 5 year old. I was able to move the cup holder to the other side of the seat to make room for the baby in the middle and that was a bonus. The only thing I wish it had more of is side padding to make napping the car a bit more comfortable. Otherwise, love it!

My Grandaughter was getting big enough to make the transition to this type of seat. I checked out several seats and when I saw this one, it caught my eye. I told my son about it and he went on line and told me that it would be perfect. He and his wife really liked what they saw and I ordered it, and when it arrived, I opened the box and was really suprised. It really looked great. I call my son and he came over to get it and he really liked it and said it looked alot better than on line. He placed his daughter in it and she really liked it because she could look forward now. She could see everything. This product is just what they wanted. We all are satisfied with this car seat. Great!Ed

I have had no complaints at all about this or any Safety 1st car seats.... They are very easy to adjust the straps ( I love the button type adjuster right on the front) And the padded strap pillows make it comfortable for the kids necks....Good padding for little bottoms for long car trips too...I love this car seat!
