I love this seat and so does my son. He is a tall one year old and it fits him perfectly. If the seat is placed in the car correctly your child should have no issue going to sleep in it. My sons head doesnt flop over it stays in place. You just have to make sure the harness is nice and snug around the baby.
I would give this a good second car seat whereby the price is reasonable and the seat looks good but compared to the Graco myride 65 it is just not as good but it is half the price. The seat does not recline that much and my son's head tends to fall forward when he sleeps so we try to take my wife's car when we know we will be on the road for a period of time or change the seats around. I would not say this is the best primary seat unless you need to budget!
First off Overstock's shipping is awesome! I ordered the car seat on Monday around 1 in afternoon. The car seat was delivered on Tuesday!!!!! I was in shock!The car seat is nice. We are retiring our Britax Roundabouts that my twins rode in and chose the Safety 1st. I was a little nervous considering the price difference but my daughter has the Safety 1st All in one convertible (in salt and pepper) and she loves it (she also came out of Britax). The Vantage fits well in my Armada and it goes really well with the interior. The twins really like this car seat and the padding was surprisingly plush and the seat really does seem to be well made. I also like that the shoulder harness guide slides up and down so that you can lock it in where its best for your child unlike other boosters that just have a molded three section shoulder belt guide.I would highly recommend this seat to anybody!
I was not happy with this carseat as it does not have any cushions or support when children fall asleep. Head has no where to lean except to go forward....
