So far I've been very happy with our purchase. We've been using the car seat for almost a month now. We used the rear facing for about three weeks. Very easy to use, to get my son in and out of. The headrest is adjustable, also easy to do. Arm rests flip up or down, the cup holder is removable. We used the latch system to install the car seat, both forward and rear facing. I love this forward facing even more. Fits perfectly in our Honda Passport, he looks extremely comfortable in it. It feels very secure when installed. Only thing I have to say is the color isn't exactly as it appears in the photo but nothing that made me want to return. In person it seems a bit lighter but still very cool.

It was time to change up from the car seat which accompanied the stroller. The convertible can be rear facing then front facing. Baby thought he was really cool the first time he was put in. It couldn't quite get completely level to match the picture on the side, but I think it was that my car seats dip down. Two more just like it were purchased by both grandmas. Guess that's the best recommendation ever!

After evaluating our options and our budget, we decided on the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat. It was very easy to adjust the seat to fit my little one and she seems to like riding in it. I don't think there is enough padding, but it seems about average for the others we looked at. I knew there was going to be issues with install - most car seats have them! I have to say, install was easier than I expected. The trick is use two people (we use the LATCH system) one to push the seat down and another to push the button and pull the strap at the same time. We had to put a rolled up towel underneath to get the seat to recline to the right position (we installed it rear facing - our babe is only 9 months but 22lbs!). Also, I wouldn't recommend putting this seat rear facing in a compact car. We have a Jeep Compass and had to put the car seat behind the passenger seat so I could move the driver's side seat to the right position. Now, the passenger seat will only go back so far - I could sit in the passenger seat (I'm 5'1

Looking for a carseat that would fit in my Mustang..and this one was perfect. My 3 year old grandson is happy to ride with Gammie now!

This Car Seat is really nice. Was easy to install into the car. The only thing I don't like is - I wish it reclined just a little bit more for when the child falls asleep for more comfort. But good seat!!!!

My daughter purchased this car seat after reading about the reviews. She has not used it as of this time. It seems to be all that she was looking for in a convertable car seat. Infact, it is even more cushioned then she thought it would be.

Love this chair but I don't like the fact that it doesn't recline a bit. My husband also hates it because it's too high and he can't see the baby when he's driving. Other than that, it's a great chair and good buy.

I'm one of those people that always has to do research on bigger purchases. I was looking for a car seat that would last my son a few years and be really comfortable for him. I looked in all the stores where I live first and didn't find any that I cared over in my budget so then I started to look online and then I found this one. I read all the reviews and for the most part the were all positive so I gave it a try. I recieved the item just a few days after ordering it and my son absolutely loves it. I highly recommend this carseat for the price.

We really like this convertible car seat for our 9-month-old. He is a large baby (almost 22 pounds already), so we needed an alternative to the infant seat (where he appeared to be folded in half at times!). The only negative feature of this car seat is that the recline feature does not go back far enough for a sleeping baby (we have it adjusted to the furthest point). Our son's had almost always slumps when he falls asleep. Otherwise, he fits much better than the infant seat and seems to like being as high as the other children in the car. It also appears to be well-made. We will soon find out!

We put this car seat in the backseat of a 2-door Ford Focus. While this is a good size seat, without the cup holder attachment and the car seat behind the passenger seat, we are still able to put 2/3 of the back seat down if we got a bit carried away with a purchase at lowes. We have the car seat leaned back a little and when my son (14 months) falls asleep, his head does fall forward. I have fixed that by getting him a little travel neck pillow and he looks much more comfortable for naps. Overall, I love the quality of this car seat and was so much happier with it than the other car seats that were available at the stores in my area. I plan to get another one just like this for my Ford Fiesta when my son outgrows the car seat we have in my car now.

Quality is great, I now have two. The first I bought for my toddler - I love not having to buy another one in another 10 lbs. So i bought one for my 11 month old. I've now had it 2 months (the one I bought from OS). The only complaint I have about rear-facing, is that it's hard to put the seat belt through. I have to keep the fabric all the way undone on the seat portion to be able to reach the car seat through. Otherwise - I love this car seat. I've had my other, same exact car seat (only red) for 9 months. I love it, my son loves it and my daughter likes her now. It is a bit bulky, but I'm a stay-at-home mom so I 'm not taking out the seat all the time. It is easy to clean. I would totally recommend it.

We are very pleased with this seat. We had the safety first baby carrier so thats why I initially chose this seat again... I like the extra features and the fact that it will hold her until shes big enough not to even need a seat anymore (100lbs) It's easy to get her in and out, I guess the only bad thing I could honestly say would be if you put it on lactch its hard to get back out again, I don't know if its my car or the seat, but once I put it in on latch, it is not coming back out! It stays in very snug and very anchored.

I bought 2 of these car seats for my two one year old grandsons. they are great. very secure one has issues sitting straight up forward facing and even though these face forward it can recline in my sons durango, which is wonderful. the other was for my other sons boy was jusy bought for his blazer, will see how it works when he gets it. we had bought the *** car seat for my older grandson and hated it, these are much better made. and so much easier to use.

Really like this car seat! Purchased this car seat for my 9 month old. Love that it grows with her. Totally worth the money - priced right. It was a little difficult to install rear facing, but not anymore so than the three other car seat we have owned in the past. I have not used it forward facing yet. My only wish is that the cup holder was built into the car seat - it comes off easily. Overall very satisfied.

I simply love this seat. The reclining makes it easy for my son to get comfortable into his chair and the seat fits perfectly with out a latch system. It is not overly big and the color is really vibrant. Easy to use and very versatile. Fast delivery and easy instructions. Installing the seat properly is a little time consuming so its a good idea to buy a cheap second seat if you need to move the seat around.

This seat was bought for grandchildren who fly in to visit. Easy to install with safety in mind.

From the date I ordered this carseat, it took 11 business days to arrive at my house, But I couldn't have been happier when I opened it. The colors are so bright and beautiful! I was amazed however to find out my Blazer did NOT have the latch system, and installing this with a lap/shoulder belt is a two person job. The recline on this (rear-facing) is perfect for any size baby, and the newborn head-rest is very easy to remove. (once you figure out how to release the shoulder straps) However my seats are not parallel to the ground, they dip in, which makes correctly leveling this seat impossible. I used one of those pool foam noodles, cut it into 3 pieces, stacked them like a pyramid, and taped them together so they wouldn't move to fill in the extra space. My installation was approved by a licensed inspector, so maybe this might work for you. Remember if you can shake the carseat and it moves more than 1 inch in any direction it is NOT SECURE! I also love how you can adjust the height of the shoulder straps with the pull of a lever. No more re-threading shoulder straps every time your baby grows an inch!! It looks so comfortable, very well built an I am very happy with my purchase!! :)

We bought this car seat on Overstock about two years ago and we also purchased an infant carrier, so we didn't use this one until she was too tall for the carrier (around 9 mos). Overall, we have been very pleased with the purchase and are purchasing a second one today. However, I will warn parents that the chest latch is difficult to get latched. It can look latched, and still pull apart, so it must be checked. I would not trust anyone else to put my daughter in the car seat, knowing this.
