We are expecting our second child and needed a couple more convertable carseats. After reading that this is the best value for a carseat, we decided to get 2 of these, one for each vehical. Installation was not too difficult, although I think the latch straps are a bit short. By using the latch strap, it made the carseat sit up more straight. If you want the seat to be more of a recline, then I would suggest you use the shoulder belt to attach the seat. I had to recline the carseat so my daughter's legs can extend all the way, otherwise, she was almost sitting indian style. With her original carseat, she could comfortably extend her legs. Also the seat does not seem very stable. It wobbles around a bit. I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly based on the instructions. I guess for the price, it is not too bad as long as it is safe.
I'm not too impressed thus far with this carseat in the rear-facing position. Maybe it will be better once it's forward-facing?? Right now it just seems that my son is awefully straight up even though we have the seat reclined the furthest it will go!! Not terrible by any means, just not completely happy with it!
I just bought this seat from OverStock.com because a current department store was going to charge me an arm and a leg for shipping. The seat arrived in a timely manner, It is in AMAZING condition, the seat is a great buy. It is very comfortable for little ones, it reclines and is very padded. I wish I bought this seat for my other two kids when they were little. Thanks Overstock!
The car seat was delivered on time and in good condition. It is very sturdy and has plenty of adjustments. The base is a little intrusive and makes it difficult to buckle nearby seat belts so we will probably remove it. Overall, it seems well made and confortable.
