Safety 1st AeroLite LX Deluxe Travel System in Avery

I should have listened to all the reviews that I read about this travel system about it being too big... but I didn't! Car seat: In order for the car seat to fit in a vehicle it either has to be placed in the middle or the seat in front of it has to be moved all the way up (or in some vehicles cases, both). It's extremely heavy even for Daddy to carry. The canopy hooks onto the back of the seat and can only be pulled so far as it does not have a support on both sides of the canopy. My son is almost 9 months old and has figured out how to pull on the canopy and the fabric is often in his face. As a result of the heaviness of the seat we often leave it in the car. But because of it's dark color it's hot because of the sun. Stroller: I have never seen a stroller that folds up like this. I watched videos about the stroller before I purchased and the lady made it look easy. Let me tell you it's not! It folds in half with the handle in a very odd way. Safety 1st boast that you can do this one handed but even in the how to videos they have to use 2 hands. It's even harder to unfold and even though I had practiced doing it indoors I scratched up the stroller trying to do it for the first times outside. The stroller is very heavy and hard to lift up. It takes up a lot of room in trunks. When you recline your child in the stroller it's supported by a fabric strap and the sides of the stroller are made out of a thin material that already is showing signs of strain.
