Regalo Steel Guardian Expandable Gate

Very dissapointing that the rubber gaskets are so small that if you have trim at the bottom it doesn't fit. Also the locking mechanishm has holes and they are too far apart for this gate to fit properly. Also dissapointed that I now have to pay a return shipping fee of of over *** to retrun an item that only cost ***; if you need a secure fit and are not sure if this gate will work don't bother! Didn't realize with Overstock's return policy you may have to still pay 1/2 price for an item you do not intend to keep!!!!

• Did the product fit true to size? no I read that it would fit even if you had trim or molding but the rubber gasket is too small to be effective if there is a gap
• How is the quality of the product? was not impressed that the locking mechanism's holes are too far apart
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? not sure since I don't have another to compare this gate with

I bought 3 of these to keep my dogs to keep them out of certain rooms. At first I thought they didn't fit but when you read "All" the instructions they do fit. Easy to move and light weight. These would work well for babies and pet. The rubber stoppers do mark up you door jams but will wipe off.

This gate is not made for stairways!! It is, however, very sturdy and seems well-made and the instructions are simple.
