I bought this for my granddaughter who is 2 and just moved to a big bed. She was rolling out of the bed and needed something. I love this railing. It is soft and it comes with two that can be attached together under the mattress or used separately on one side only. I would definetly recommend it.

We recently moved our toddler to a "big boy bed" in preparation for his baby sister a few weeks before she was set to arrive. We ordered these rails to put on his bed. My main area of complaint is with the level of patience required to install the rails, especially since he is not supposed to have a box spring (making the bed closer to the ground in the event of a fall). It was difficult to maneuver the mattress and set up the rails. Since installing it, I've found out how difficult it is to change the sheets or even make the bed. Completely impossible for a pregnant woman (and I'm small) much less a grown man. Other than it keeping him from rolling off in the middle of the night, it isn't that great of a concept. But I don't think it's just this rail system, I think it's most if not all....so not likely to recommend any of them if you don't have to use them. If my son wasn't so tiny and if he were downstairs where I could get to him faster when he fell, I would skip it all together, as most of his peers who are 3 or 4 have done. But I just can't sleep well at night knowing that he could fall out and hurt himself or explore his way down the stairs.

This product came with a slight bend in one of the bars. It took a little strength to put it back into shape, but I did so because I needed to put it up for my child's sake. It does protect him from rolling off the bed, but it would be a better product if the rails were a longer. Putting it together took some time--more than expected of side rails.

The bed rail was fairly simple to put together - the only problem I found was that putting the metal tubing together scratched the paint of but it is not visible once assembled. It works satisfactorily on our bunk bed and looks nice. It would be better on a regular mattress with a box spring or bunkie board. (We have only wood slats under the mattress.) All in all, I am pleased with it and so far no one has fallen off the bunk bed.

This was a little challanging to put together as the directions are not very clear, but once you put one side together, the other side was easier. You will need two people to place it under the mattress.

The bed rail is nice quality and would work great with a stand alone mattress and frame. However I purchased this to use on a bottom bunk, when using this with any kind of framed mattress this will not work. I would not suggest purchasing this unless you are using a stand alone frame, this it would work great for.

A little confusing the put together and no directions for which way to put on bed. Didn't tell you how it folds down and only one side does fold down. We leave both sides up all the time and our daughter crawls in on the bottom of the bed. That way she doesn't fall out ever!

My daughter and son-in-law needed these as their little girl transitioned from a crib to a big-girl bed. They do a great job keeping her in and safe, however my daughter said they were kind of complicated to put together. They connect under the mattress which is good and keeps them secure, just be prepared for an assembly chanllenge.

This product was purchased for our two year old sons first big boy bed. Love the way they fit and it gives us the security he won't roll out of bed. The directions could of been a little more clear, but my husband had it installed in about twenty minutes

We have had no problems with this product. Our toddler has been sleeping with the rails for 3 weeks and doing great. My husband said that the directions weren't very good, but he figured it out just fine. I would recommend this to anyone.

The bed rails are definitly tall enough to keep the kids safely in the bed. The only problem is the straps that has to be passed under the matteress that connects the two rails together. If the 'poles'(?) that pass under the mattress would be longer, the straps wouldn't be necessary.

We bought this to have to put on our 3 year old's bed and we thought to be able to take it to her grandma's house when she stayed there. However, it is not so easily portable. Works great to keep on her bed as a permanent fixture, but not the best if you are looking for something that you travel with frequently. Overall, great for the value.

I bought them for my 2 year old grandson, so he could sleep in his big boy bed. They look nice and we do not have to worry about him rolling out of bed in the middle of the night. It was a little tricky putting them together , so I asked my son in law.

the bed rails did great, the price was right, very economical, however we seemed to had lost our instructions, we had it put together an we know there"s away to fold all contents together in that little pack, so if u don"t mind will u send us another copy of directions. thank you,frances d.

Length is great...helps keep the little man secure and he knows it is serious bedtime when he safely tucked in. I like the double sided --although sometimes one side is against the wall--keeps him from sliding between the bed and the wall. Best price I could find and quick delivery too.

Excellent product- Easy to put together because all of the pieces are numbered in the directions as well as on the actual product. Took me 15 minutes to assemble. My daughter feels very safe in her bed now.
