Bed rail is fine. After looking around it seems to be the tallest one, although not the longest. If you are putting it on a bed that uses a bunkie board rather than a box spring, to keep it low for little ones, it works well. In this scenario it couldn't fold down anyhow, so you don't need to pay extra for that function. Also, since it you can't have a fold down rail with a bunkie board, you might like this length rather than the longer one at other places, because you need some space at the end of the bed to get on and off. I don't have much to compare it to but it seems to do the job and was easy to assemble.

This product works well and is as attractive as a bed rail can be. It was a bit tricky getting it installed under a mattress - definitely a two-person job.

I have used this for a couple of months now and HATE it !!!!! Yes, it prevents my child from falling out of the bed, but....It has straps from the rail to the wall under the mattress which move every time you change the sheet, which you'll do often with a toddler !!! EVERY time I change sheets it has to be put back in place by picking up the mattress all the way, placing the stubs, and hoping they stay in place when you put the mattress back down....HATE IT !!!! Very difficult to place and replace when changing the bed!!! Hit me on the eyebrow twice today !!!! It's in the closet now as it is too late to return it and I no longer have the box, but would never buy another one or recommend it to anybody else !!!

Once together, this makes for a fairly sturdy rail. Certainly one of the better portable rail systems I have seen. It was fairly easy to put together. The straps are plenty long enough to adjust to almost any size mattress. There are no sharp edges and the netting looks very strong. It can be taken apart a rolled up very quickly. There is an included stuff bag that will keep everything together, making it easy to take with you. This is not only a great rail for a child's bed at home, but is excellent for use in motels when traveling. The price is very low and the shipping is always great from overstock. A good product at a great price. I highly recommend this product. Especially for folks that travel with small children.

looking for an affordable rail for our son & expecting to pay at least $40. I mean whats the price you would put on having your child never fall out of the bed again, if you could help it??? This rail is the best. Easy to assemble, much more affordable than we expected. Very pleased, Very delighted. Could be sturdier, but thats coming from a parent's point of view. Everything could be safer someway! I would give it 5 stars, but im not that kinda person. Definitiely pleased!

These railings were a poor investment. We ordered these thinking that they would be easy and simple to install, and boy was I wrong! They are easy to assemble, but attaching them to the bed and actually fitting them was a different story. They were so horrible to deal with (not to mention, we never could get them very stable, they were very wobbly and seemingly unsafe) that we just pushed our son's bed up against the wall and placed chairs with pillows to substitute. We had ordered these as a solution to NOT have to push the bed up against the wall in the first place. Think twice before you order these, and read all of the reviews thoroughly!

My daughter is 16 mo and was tring to climb out of her crib. We replaced a side of the crib with the bed rail and remove it when she is not asleep. She loves being able to climb in and out of her bed on her own. It makes nighttime a much more pleasureable experience for everyone.

the rail was easy to put togetherprolly took me ten -15 min and mson wasnt afri to sleep in is big boy b anymore i o ridof my crib that day. great comfort shield and strong so he wont fall out of bed. great product.

This is exactly as described. I used it with a bunkie board without any problems. My daughter-in-law was so impressed she wanted to purchase a double rail by the same manufacturer. It is easy to put together and take down. It comes with a cloth bag for storing the parts.

This product was very simple to put together and install to the bed.I am very pleased and would recommend this product without any hesitation. It is also very portable and can be easily taken down when not needed.

We purchased this for our 2 year old daughter who is now in a full size bed. She was having trouble sleeping and adjusting. After purchasing the bed rail, her routine is back to normal. I think it gave her a sense of safety. And as always, Overstock delivered in its fast time!

We have had this product for a few weeks now and have used it with our 3 year old daughter. It is very easy to put together, but a bit cumbersome to put to full use on the bed itself. IT has nylon straps that are supposed to go under the mattress perpendicularly to keep it secure. That is the cumbersome part-getting the straps under the mattress (especially if the bed is AGAINST A WALL!). HOWEVER, I will say that the unit is very sturdy and high enough that the child really would have a hard time falling out of bed. Overall I think this is a good prouct and it serves its purpose.

Worked out great, was prompt with delivery, was easy to assemble, convenient to store, and kept our 2 year old granddaughter snug and secure.

Needed a bedrail for our grandson who sleeps in a "bigboy" bed when he comes to visit. I found it easy to assemble but a little tricky to add to the twin bed by myself. Once installed it's stays in place & the added length compared to some bed rails is a plus. Will probably never use it on a full sized bed but it has that option.

I was very disappointed in the product; it wasn't easy to assemble and I kept it because it was difficult to disassemble.
