not overly impressed
We needed to attach 2x4's to the walls so the gate would stay secure and not wobble.

As advertised
We ordered the gate to close in a 59" wide hallway. The gate was easy to set up and the door makes it very convenient. It does bow a bit in the middle but it is sturdy enough even without using the optional wall mounting. For the price, this is an excellent gate for our puppy.

good pet gate
We got 2 gates to block off 6 ft. entrances to dining and living rooms. We have 2 small dogs, and they don't jump or push on the gates which is good because they bow a bit in the middle (to be expected with a 6 ft. gate on spring tension). The door opening is a nice touch so we don't have to climb over.
