I bought this to contain our wildebeast puppy and was worried he would squeeze through the bars, he tried but failed. We bought a different brand else where, returned it and now we are purchasing a 2nd one. This brand gate is strong and stable so it would be good for larger dogs or babies. Just beware that it only comes with 2 extensions so you have limited options size wise. There are different models with different sized extensions so you have to make sure you purchase the correct one for your needs. You can purchase the extensions separately but you have to make sure it's for the same height gate. I've seen them sold on other web sites but I'm not sure if Overstock.com carries them or not.

These are great gate. We use them to keep our dogs our of certain rooms. They are fairly easy to install, however I recommend having 2 people when you install. We have 3 of these gates and they work great without damaging any walls.

I got this gate to stop our dogs from going upstairs but still have the ease for us to go upstairs. This gate is exactly as descriped and very good quality. I am very, very happy with this product.

Ordered the gate one afternoon it showed up sooner than stated it would arrive. It was every thing the advertizement said it is. It's very sturdy and easy assembly, up it 15 to 20 minutes max. instructions easy to understand if you need them. parts pretty self telling. it is well constructed.

Very happy with this gate, been looking for a while now and they are about $30 more in local stores. I bought 2, one for a large doorway to keep the dogs off the leather furniture at night. One for the top of my stairs, have a 2 month-old granddaughter in the house and wanted something secure so she won't fall down the stairs and yet simple to use when we want to go down them. Very easy installation, seems complicated with all the parts, but it's not and the gate does not appear to latch properly right out of the box...the directions state this is NOT a defect, (they are right) once installed and tightened the latch comes together perfectly. Note, the gate opening is not as large as I expected, it works great for our house, but a larger person may want to look at the opening size before ordering.

The gate arrived within a couple of days,easy to install,we used the screws to hold the gate in place. The gate was purchased to keep a large breed puppy out of certain rooms. It has worked great ! very satisfied.Would highly recommend this to any one looking for a gate.

This gate in stores runs around $80 or just a few dollars less so getting it for this price was amazing. It shipped fast, was easy as pie to put together and fits perfectly in the space I set aside in my place for my new puppy. If you are looing for a gate with an access door yu will not go wrong with this gate at all!!

Great product, kept the granddog out of the kitchen yet enabled all of us two-legged creatures easy access through the easy open door. Comes with the accessories to make it a permanent fixture, or for safety like at the top of stairs.

Would recommend to anyone. This was purchased to contain a small dog. (17 lbs.) He could climb a regular baby gate but not this one! The walk through gate makes life a lot easier, we just leave it up all the time and just lock the gate whenn we need to.
