This gate is perfect for the top of my stairway. No worries of baby falling or climbing over. Easy open!

My dog had no problem in clearing previous gates whenever he wanted to. No chance of that happening with this gate! The price for this gate on Overstock was so much better than comparable gates via other merchants. The one drawback is that the opening is rather narrow, so larger people may have a little trouble passing through comfortably.

My sister had this gate at first to help contain my Staffordshire(pitbull) terrier and her Basset both at 48lbs. After seeing they have had no ability to knock this gate over or get through it I decided to order one myself for at my house. The security latch is a very nice feature that you do not find on many other gates in here. A lot of the gates I have found rely on a tiny metal bar. Too me that is easy picking for a pair of bigger dogs. The gate is very easy to adjust and take in and out of openings. I am using it in a pocket of my bathroom so as to create the den affect for my dog which he loves. Good overall height for a Staffordshire which mine is approximately 21inches tall from floor to top of head and when he stands up he can put his paws up top but thats it on the gate.

We have two 8 month old 60lb large breed puppies. Within minutes of the gate arriving at the house it was up and keeping the puppies behind it. The gate is taller than others gates that we have purchased and secured to the wall without tools. This is a great product will order a second one for another hallway.

This gate is very easy to use. My german shepard does not push through it like other gates I have bought. Overall a very good buy.

I am using this between my garage and back yard for my Welsh Springer (which is why I got the extra tall - they can JUMP)...and it's working out really well. The one-handed functionality is perfect.

This is a great gate. It is nice and tall to keep the big dogs from jumping into the baby's room and keep me from bending down to open it. It is very easy to use and easy to put up. I ordered two and my only complaint is that one of them has a corner that isn't welded well, so it scratches when you walk through it. But, I hit is with a hammer and got the scratchy piece flattened. Other than that, this is a great baby/dog gate.

so glad I bought this! I can easily open it and walkthrough even with things in my hands... but there's no way my son can open it or get pinched in it... & I know he's safely playing in his room! His room doens't have a door on it; this allows me to see in but ensures he can't get out & crawl/fall down the steps! LOVE it! best gate for the money I've ever seen! & SO EASY to install!!!!!

This gate is hilariously tall but keeps a 33-pound Irish terrier with a high-jump ability like you've never where he's supposed to be when he comes to work. This is the 3rd gate we've tried after he cleared the other two heights with a bare minimum of effort. The gate is easy for people coming and going from the room. It's easy to install and relatively stable. I just have it held in place with the screw-feet but you'd have to screw the little cups into the jam to hold up to a bigger dog with a paws-up/fence-leaning habit.

i got this to keep my two dogs out that are not real agressive so this works fine. If they would jump up on the gate I believe it would move. Due to the latching system for the gate, you have to have it at just the right tension or it requires two hands to open and close and even then it moves. There are some peices that you can screw into the wall to make it more stable but I didn't want to go that far.

• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? It has a small defect where the gate closes there is a metal piece that catches just a little. Not a big issue and the closure is somewhat cheap.

This gate's height is great. I'm using it to keep my dogs either in or out of my bedroom, and to keep my cat out. It's tall enough to discourage the cat, which is awesome. The walk-through opening is quite narrow, and the grip on the door frame is very very weak. It works well enough for our purposes, but without a better grip on the door way and a slightly wider opening, I can't give it a better rating. We have it tightened in the door as much as we can without interfering with the gate's ability to open. The clearance for the latching mechanism is pretty inflexible, you really can only tighten the overall fit so far, without making it impossible to open the actual gate.

The gate contains the new puppies. The cat can not jump over it so the pets are secure when we are not home.

I purchased this gate to prevent my big dogs from going down my hallway to keep them off the beds. They are farm dogs and not always clean when they come in. The gate was semi-easy to install but once installed it was very flimsy. The gate was difficult to open at the top and the gate did not secure at the bottom so my dogs could just push thru the bottom even with the top latched. This caused the gate to loose its tension against the walls. My 3 1/2 yo could also push thru the bottom of the gate since it did not llatch. Then on top of everything else, Overstock is charging me to return a sub-standard product that did not live up to its description. Whats up with that. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT.

We purchased this gate so our lil guy isnt able to go downstairs without us now that he is in a toddler bed. The price was good and the installation was very easy. So far it is a good gate. I am a little worried that over time it will not close all the way but only time will tell.

I am tall, so I wanted a gate I didn't have to bend over to open and close. This is great and works for my 12lb dog and my 55lb dog.

I purchased two gates to keep my dogs in one area of my home but still giving them plenty of space to roam and be with the family. They work great. Finally a gate my Shih-tzu can not jump, climb over, chew through, or knock down. Easy to open and close. Very happy with my purchase.
