This product works great and was easy to set up. I have two small dogs, both very hyper. I was wanting to keep them out of the living room and den area when my husband and I have to leave or when he is asleep during the day (works 3rd shift). With this gate, we can both rest assure that the rest of the house will not be destroyed when we wake or return home and we know that our dog's safety is not a risk either. Good product for the money. I actually ordered the wrong thing. I thought I was ordering a much wider gate but I could use this anyway in another doorway. It's very easy to pass through and very secure. I have 3 grandchildren that will all be crawling at the same time so having this will sure help!

I ordered two of these gates to block off the kitchen from the baby and the dogs. One opens quite easily, yet the other one does not as the spring is a little tighter. One is being used for a 50" opening so it's a little more shaky than the one being used for a 30" opening. Overall, the products perform the function for which they were purchased.

This product is really easy to set up. The instructions weren't very clear, however; the pieces themselves fit together without any hassle.

Very good and convenient for extra wide areas. I specially like the convenient door. However it has to be set up on straight surfaces or it doesn't hold firmly.

I like the product works very well for my purpose. It was a little difficult to install but I figured it out and now that I have it installed I'm very pleased with the product. It is well engineered and very useful for keeping my dogs where they belong. I think that they are especially impressed by the gate seems more like a door and they don't try to breach it like most baby gates.

i ordered a more expensive version...too many bells and whistles to break (which did) these are easy to install and custom fit. i had two separate areas to secure and one piece easily came off to fit the smaller area.

I recently had 2 wooden gates destroyed by my 2 cats and 1 dog, I bought your gate and it has paid for itself ten times over already. No more climbing over the gate and removing it. every time we want to leave the room. The installation was a breeze, and I am very happy and my pets are in their place.

I thougth it would be a great gate for the kitchen/livingroom area..But, it bends very easily ..My 11.5 month old can bend it with his hands..If it was sturdier, it would be an excellent gate. kk

This thing is GREAT! It's extremely sturdy, a breeze to put up and not unattractive like the fold out wooden ones we had. It keeps the pups out and the granddaughter in and best of all..........no more stepping over gates all the time with an arm full of baby. I'll be ordering more very soon for our house and our daughter's house. Oh! And it's easy to open one handed and has ample space to walk through. The dimensions of the gate (opening) looked small to me but it's really not.

It's not tooo bad. I like the gate itself and how it looks. My son shakes it alot to bounce up and down and it doesn't move, but he is only 11 months, but he is a strong boy. The only thing that I don't like about is it if you apply too much tension, then the gate latch part doesn't work. It takes some adjustment to to get it just right, and I know at one point my husband and I were getting really frustrated. It is definitely not for older boys jumping on it, but why would you let them do that anyways. All in all it has worked out good for us!

This is a wonderful product. I have three dogs, two of which need to be kept separated due to fighting issues and this gate does the trick. It is a great construction, looks great, installs easily, and is a must have for your home if you have children or pets.

We bought this to put at the top of our stairs. We didn't realize it required four holes to be drilled to install cups, which prevents it from being able to be pushed down the stairs. Two of those holes are in the banister, two in the wall. The gate requires that you push a lever back and lift the whole gate up, which can be a hassle with full hands, and then the gate opening itself is on the small side - to go through it, everything I'm carrying up the steps has to be lifted up and over the gate, because there is only room for one person to fit through. The opening is probably 18-24".

The handle to open the gate is awkward and cheaply made . It is hard to open and close. Not a good gate were you have a lot of traffic. Older children have tons of problems opening and closing. I have three other gates throughout my house I like 20 times more. I would have sent it back but my husband thought it was a waste of time between shipping and handling and getting it back in the box.

I needed a gate that was wide enough to put on a staircase landing. It had to be sturdy enough for big dogs. I don't have to climb over this one. It is very nice. It has a latch that locks and I think it'll hold up well. I may get another one for the other steps.Definitely a nice gate for the price.

I bought two gates. One of them I cut with a saw for a tight professional looking fit. They are doing great. I would recommend them to anyone. We can now keep our dogs out of the carpeted areas. Very sturdy metal, thes gates will last a long time.

This is a wonderful gate. It has a childproof, not adult proof door. My 2 year old grandson can not open it, nor can he push it over like my previous gate. The bars are also closely spaced and even my smallest (5 lb) dog can not go through. It was shipped in a timely manner.
