  As a mother of two under 5, anything to avoid the ER is a great product. I have two boys and I wish that the safety companies would test the products out on them, I have tried it all and they can break it, get through it, bypass it you name it the products have not worked from the safety locks for the doors, to the fridge. I purchased this for a new TV stand my husband and I got that has two glass shelves, The first day we had this new tv stand out youngest hurt his lip and we went to the er instead of the store to get the covers, when I bought a different set of covers (from the store that day) I came home to put them on and the boys were able to take them right off, which did not help to protect them, also the protectors we hard and to me seemed like they would hurt more just not cut them. So I took them back and waited for my order from overstock, we put them on and have had no problem since. The material is not hard it is like a sponge and if they hut it it does not hurt them. ...

  This is a good lock, it holds tight and does its job. The only complaint I have would be that it isn't very convenient for cabinets you get into regularly. Hubby tends to just let it dangle to avoid having to deal with it.

  I love these things they have saved my 1 year old's fingers SO much already. We have our house pretty child proofed but she kept closing doors and getting locked in and then getting mad about it. And my 2 year old loves to slam doors. So we now have these on little velcro pieces hung outside their doors and the 2 year old knows we have to put on the lady bug (or whatever) before we leave. She likes to help. Thanks!

  Waste of money. Though I should have thought of this before my purchase: the guards are cute & attractive, therefore the toddler wants to pull them off of the door. Therefore, they are useless. :-)
