Convient but bought another one with a wider base from Baby Depot. My daughter has a healthy fear of public toliets because thye are so large. This one will sit on the public toliets but barely, not all that secure. The cheaper version at Baby Depot is a wider seat that fits more securly on the commercial toliets.Read More
I wish I could give this product a 5-star rating, but I cannot because my grandson did not use it. We bought it for a trip we took out of town, knowing that we would be staying at a hotel and that our grandson didn't like "strange toilets", but for some reason, my grandson got over his fear of strange toilets while we were away, and started "going" without using the seat cover. So, we didn't really get to use it. I was somewhat disappointed when I put it on the hotel toilet initially, because it started collapsing, so I removed it. My grandson jumped up on the toilet and started "going" so I no longer even tried using it again. I guess we'll save it in case we have another grandchild at some point in time.Read More

I just put this all the way to the back of the toliet. It fits and works perfectly. Easy to use and fold up and out away. Also easy to clean and disinfect.Read More

How to Use Potty Chairs for Potty Training
As your child becomes a toddler, it's time add potty chairs to your diapering and potty training supplies. Make potty training easier for both you and your child by giving him a potty chair that's just his size. The transition from diapering to potty training is an important step in your child's life, and having the right potty chair can make all the difference. How do you know which potty chair to choose? The following tips can help you find potty training chairs that will make you and your baby happy at potty time.
Best Potty-Training Techniques
Potty training a child is no easy task. Although children will respond to each potty-training method individually, there are a few techniques that mothers swear by and experts approve. It is important to pinpoint your child's temperament before beginning the toilet training process and to experiment with different methods. Total potty training will not be achieved overnight, and parents should expect trial and error. Keep a schedule. Children respond well to schedules. If you have found that your child functions best with schedules for sleep and other activities, then a toilet training schedule is probably going to be effective. Build a reasonable schedule that is right for you and your child and be sure to stick with it. Be clear with nannies, babysitters and childcare workers about your child's potty schedule for the best results. Give rewards. The reward method often works well for children. Many children will find potty training more trouble than it is worth and rewards can give them an incentive to do their best. Determine a reward for your child. Small pieces of candy, sticker charts and pennies for their piggy bank are all good options. Explain the reward system to your child when you are talking about potty training. Make sure you frequently ask your child if she has to use the toilet, and take her to the bathroom each time she says she must go. If you prefer to avoid material rewards, use extra praise or a made-up song, dance or story as a potty reward. Let your child set the timetable. Waiting until your child is ready for potty training is highly effective, low stress and recommended by many pediatricians. When you feel the time is right, show your child how to use the toilet. Books, DVDs and CDs with toilet training lessons can also be effective. While this method will take some time and patience, eventually your child will take interest in potty training and get the hang of it. Using a schedule and reward system when your child is starting to comprehend potty training can help him make the connection. If your child is resistant to potty training, give him some more time and let him take a natural interest.
How to Choose the Right Dog Kennel Size
One of the first things you need for a new dog is a quality dog kennel. The right dog kennel can help potty train your puppy, make traveling and vet visits with your dog easier, and give your dog a cozy place to curl up at night or to keep out of mischief while you're away. The wrong size dog kennel, however, can make things uncomfortable for your pooch and a pain for you. As a rule of thumb, kennels and crates should be at least 4 inches taller and longer than your dog and allow him to stand, sit, and turn around easily. You'll also want to make sure there is water and a blanket or towel in there for him. These guidelines can help you find the right fit for your pup when shopping for dog kennels.
