Elastic broke after 3 wears (I couldn't tie it back together and had to return it) The leather is very thin and showed signs of wearing immediately. I also bought. Another pair. They smelled very heavily of chemicals. Even after one week of airing them out they still smelled. I also tried putting them on my son and the elastic was too tight to go over his feet. The sizing for his foot looked right but I couldn't get them on. Because of the smell and inability to put them on,I returned those too. By the way these were made in China. I do NOT recommend these shoes to anyone. I spent the extra money and bought ***. They were well worth the difference. The leather is good quality, there is no smell, the elastic is double elasticized around the ankles and they fit perfectly.
