I have had this high chair for 6 years and 3 kids. This is sorry and well made but there are some problems one the plastic tray cracks in the middle edge right near the baby and can become very sharp. This happened with my first son and I was able to contact greco and get anew replacement tray. It has happened again with my second son and greco no longer supply that replacement part, I am now left with a broken tray cover or no cover for my third child. Other than that this seat has held up wonderfully. If you have a child who is chunky in the thighs and or wears cloth diapers the center bar between the legs can make for a tight squeeze. There. Has also been a recall on this chair but it is simple to install the recall kit and I never had a problem even with out the kid of the seat becoming loose . Best wishes finding a high chair overall a nice seat I just wish greco supported with parts better.Read More
This is my first and only high chair, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I will share my experiences with it over the last year. I bought it because I thought it looked great, and would match my dining room furniture. It didn't disappoint on that. But when I started using it, there were a few things I wasn't thrilled about. First of all, it doesn't seem like the most comfortable chair for the child. The wooden bar that goes between their legs seems like of hard. It would be nice if it were padded. Also, I felt like it wasn't as easy as it should be to wipe the cushion clean. Food residue stays on there to a certain extent. And my final complaint is that the plastic cover of the tray is very easy to pull off, which means that, starting at around 10 months, my son could pull it off and throw the whole thing on the floor. It seems like this would have been easily fixed during the design process with a little latch or something on the front to hold the plastic tray in place. All in all, the chair is fine, and I continue to use it, but in retrospect, I wish I had considered comfort and features a little more over aesthetic appeal.Read More

This gave me a stylish, sturdy and clean choice. It is really sturdy and finished well. The color is very rich so it will fit with decor.Read More

How to Pick a Mat to Use Under an Office Chair
Carpeted floors usually provide too much resistance for office chairs with rollers to work well. In addition, rolling a chair over carpet will wear down the carpet fibers over time. Mats designed for these areas are a practical solution to both issues. Mats can also protect harder, uncarpeted floors -- such as vinyl or wood, from wear caused by chair rollers. There are several styles and colors of these mats. When choosing a mat to use under your rolling office chair, it's not always best to choose the first one you see -- some are more suitable for low-pile carpets or wood floors, and some are perfect for use on heavy, thick carpeting.

Best Bookshelf Materials
It's not unusual for bookshelves to incorporate multiple materials for different features. If you haven't decided on wood, wood products, metal or glass bookshelves, look at their relative strengths and weaknesses. Look below to learn the best bookshelf materials. Wood: "Solid wood" is a common term for furniture made from lumber planks. Beware of making assumptions based on labels like "hardwood" and "softwood." Hardwoods are derived from deciduous trees and softwoods from coniferous trees; the terms don't connote their relative strengths. Balsa is a hardwood even though it is very soft, just as Douglas fir is a softwood even though it is very hard. They all make excellent, classic stock material for bookcases. Generally, harder woods are the heavier and more resistant to scratches. Still, softer woods, if treated correctly, will keep just as well as harder woods. Plywood: Made by stacking thin sheets -- "plies" -- of lumber and gluing them under pressure, plywood features grains that alternate direction for strength. Several grades are available, of differing cost. Top and bottom plies can be high-quality woods to create the appearance of fine woods, but edge veneer or molding is needed to complete the illusion. Particleboard: Wood chips glued together carry a much lower price tag than solid wood, and particleboard is denser and more uniform. It's a great choice when cost is the primary consideration. Bookshelves crafted from veneered composite boards can look and feel as good as real wood. MDF: Wood fibers, tiny chips and sawdust collected and glued into sheets form medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Low-cost MDF makes an excellent base for veneers; plus, its strength is consistent and it shapes well. Metal: There's a reason most library bookshelves are made from metal: Metal bookcases are resistant to moisture and fungus, their low-friction shelves are easier on books' bindings and metal's strength-to-weight ratio can't be beat. Their cost usually comes in below any other material. Glass: Glass bookshelves weigh more than other types, but if you plan on assembling your bookshelves only once, the style points can be well worth it. Tempered glass shelves (in wood or metal uprights, called "standards") give your home an unbeatable contemporary feel, and glass bookcases' smooth, transparent surfaces add brilliant levity to a decorating piece that might otherwise be notably opaque and heavy. How to Refinish Dining Room Chairs
Nicks, scratches and dings all have the potential to turn a beautiful wooden dining room set into an eyesore, but often the damage can be easily reversed. When your dining room chairs are still functional but leave something to be desired cosmetically, consider refinishing furniture pieces rather than replacing them. Refinishing dining room chairs is a simple do-it-yourself project that, with the proper preparation and technique, can produce professional-quality results at a fraction of the cost of professional restoration.
