Fisher-Price Tree Party Cradle 'n Swing

I was so glad to receive this swing the day we returned from the hospital with our newest little girl. I tried to find a review for this swing before purchasing and was not able to locate one. I had issues with a fisher-price swing I received as a gift at my shower and was a bit hesitant of purchasing a different fisher-price model, so I did purchase the protection plan provided by Overstock.com. Now onto the Swing! Assembly was extremely easy. We only required one tool, a phillips head screwdriver. Most of the swing simply snaps together. This swing is super cute and appears to be very well made. The motor is super quiet and the sounds are soothing and not cheesy. This swing is extremely stable once you ensure the base legs are spread to their widest setting. Watching the swing now, the motor housing doesn't even sway. The seat is very soft with a micro-fleece accent on the sides. My daughter absolutely loves laying in the seat. The swinging motion is a bit fast for the smallest ones, but hanging a small blanket of the edge slows it down to a mild swing and works great! The colors are very girly and light pink. The mobile has great little stuffed toys that are easy to remove and clean, if necessary. The lights are great at night, but for my daughter (a few days old) they seem to be a bit overstimulating for sleeping time. I am almost positive she will love them when she is a bit older. There are two recline positions for the seat. My only wish is that the adjustment button for reclining the seat were located in the front, or somewhere more easily accessible. The one feature of this swing that I appreciate the most....The fact it plugs in!!! I haven't had to purchase any batteries and couldn't be happier about it. I have only had this swing a few days, and so far I am thrilled with it!
