The monitor has very good range, I can use it outside on the dock . The night vision is excellent, not needing a night light, which is an added distraction .

A total steal!
With my husband being deployed i thought it was time to invest in a (new) monitor for my daughter since i cant keep an eye on her at all times. I say a new monitor because we bought the Safety First crystal clear monitor when our daughter was born. Fail. The static was unbearable, the batteries didnt last longer than 15 minutes and it started acting up after a few months of use. Needless to say it met its doom smashing againt a wall at 3 am one night. I found this Fisher-Price monitor and fell in love. The sound is crystal clear! And i mean you can hear faint breathing and thumb-sucking sounds. No static what-so-ever. The only reason i did not give 5 stars is because the range is not so great, but for the quality and price i can work with it. I love how mobile the camera is, i can watch my daughter (7 months now and getting into everything) play in the living room while i run and do laundry in the garage. The lights on the side are a plus so i can "see" her crying if i cant hear her over the vacuum (lol) couldnt ask for a better monitor. I have told all of my friends and family to invest in one also!

I love the product
My son has an open track and is not able to produce audible sound because of it. This product allows me to monitor him while he is taking his naps during the day.I can be anywhere in the house and is still able to hear his cry or any movement he makes. i gave it a 4 star because the screen is smaller than i like it to be. there is always room for improvement.

Works great... UNLESS YOU LEAVE THE ROOM WITH IT
The receiver would loose signal the second I would walk from the bedroom. Maybe my condo was constructed like a bomb shelter, but this thing doesn't have a distance of more than 1o feet for me.

The premise was great, but if you have more than one wall that you are away from your child it will not work. Our Master bedroom is only 40 feet away and we have our childs wall and our kitchen wall for signal to go through and it will not go. This item is crap. Would be great if you had of house of no walls.

Not worth the price
This little video/audio monitor is okay if you are super close to the baby, but that kind of defeats the purpose. It doesnt have a very long range, so if you have to run outside, it doesnt work very well, and it doesnt go through too many walls very well either. When it is working, the picture and sound quality is really good. I don't think it was worth the money I payed though...
