Many components are actually made in China
I purchased this because the description said "Made in USA". This is not really true. It was assembled in the US of imported and US components. All the cloth areas were made in China. So I'm really disappointed that this was NOT truely made in the USA as described.

very cute but not recommend for rear facing
Love the seat, especially the removable seat cushion. This will help it last a lot longer. I also like how the straps adjust in the front...this will make adjusting a lot easier. The description on ooverstock says that it can be used rear or front facing, BUT the box only says FRONT facing. We have not figured out how to make it rear facing as there are no instructions telling you.

great seat for the price
We really like this seat. I like it better than some of the more expensive seats we have bought. My daughter is potty training so I especially like the removable pad that goes at the bottom.

Lovely design and safety features.
The only thing I would say is that the booklet information that came with it, doesn't show how to strap the carseat in real facing, which is should. If one wants to make sure they are putting it in correctly, they need to go to their local police or sheriff's office to find out.
