Evenflo Big Kid LX Booster Seat in Leland

I bought this booster seat for my 5 year old grandson. We were going on a seven hour trip. He was very comfortable and loved the pull out slots for his drinks and snacks.

This seat has lights! My daughter, of course, found those. I purchased this seat instead of just the base booster because we travel a lot and this one has a nice headrest. Easy to assemble and my daughter has no problems getting her seatbelt on or off.

We now have 2 of these Evenflo Big Kid Booster Seats. We bought one from another retailer and liked it so much that I bought this one on Overstock. My son is 4 1/2 and is 45 inches tall and 45 pounds and it fits him just right. It is just a belt-positioning seat, so you have to be sure your child is tall enough that the belt goes across the chest. It does not latch into the car or have a 5 point harness, so if you are looking for that (particularly if you have a smaller child) then you need to get a different seat. This seat just sits in your car unattached to boost your child up so that the seatbelt is in the right place. It fits my child perfectly. My son LOVES the snack and cup holders on this seat. I like that it can grow with the child - once they are even bigger, the back can come off and it is just a bottom booster. One thing I should mention is that when I bought it, the description said it had reading lights - the description was wrong, this model does NOT have reading lights. Evenflo makes a different model with lights if you want them (DLX?), but you cannot get lights for the LX models. We bought s small clip on reading light instead and that works great for night trips. Overall this is a good booster seat and a decent value if you want a belt-positioning booster for your big kid.

Upset that there were no courtesy lights as shown in description. The lights were the main reason I ordered this seat! When I texted to question this, your representative was uninformed and tried to tell my I needed to order the lights from Evenflo. My instruction booklet even gave instructions for changing the batteries for the lights. The seat itself is good and we are using it.
