  I do not own this crib, but have rented it for a great-nephew. It is "Da Bomb"! Loved it. So easy to put in and out of the trunk. Ridiculously easy to assemble. It even rolls through doorways! Fits nicely in a closet. I see complaints about the mattress, but it is so superior to what a pack & play has to offer. AND, it's a portable crib, for heaven's sake!! These retail for over $500. I have contacted the company and also tried to buy it from the rental company. I wish I could afford to have my own, but with only one grandchild 500 miles away, it's just not a good investment.

  Some people are wary of portable cribs thinking they are flimsy or less reliable than a standard full size crib; however, this crib is excellent. Foundations manufactures cribs of excellent quality! I use these in my business so they get a lot of use, but they are sturdier and more reliable than most standard cribs. This is great if you don't have a lot of room, or for a grandparents house as it will be usable for years (as long as your child still needs a crib). The only downside is the fact that you have to bend all the way over to pick up or put in your baby, so for a newborn it would be a pain and uncomfortable, but as they get older, this is definitely a great crib to have.

  I bought the Wehsco Compact Folding Crib for use when my grandchildren are visiting. I wanted a crib that was safe and and easily stored in a closet when not in use. It is very easy to set up and to fold for storage. The mattress is thin, but sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a mattress cover. The wheels do not lock as far as I can tell. I'll have to buy a shaggy area rug to put under the crib before my toddler grandson figures out he can push off the wall and send it rolling. I didn't care if the crib was pretty or not, since it's going to spend most of the time folded up in a closet, but it is actually nice looking. The crib has only been used for one nap so far, but the napper fell right asleep and slept soundly for a couple of hours. I am very pleased with my purchase of this crib.

  These are wonderful cribs for Grandma's house. They are easy to put together, fold and move. They are full sized so crib sheets fit. They are portable. A great alternative to the big heavy wooden cribs!
