It's your very basic car seat. Essentially, it'll prevent you from getting a traffic ticket. Overall, my kid doesn't complain, but it's no britax.

I bought this car seat 1 1/2 yrs ago for my son. It was a bit hard to install rear-facing, I did get help from my local health dept & even they had a difficult time leveling it properly in my Chevy Equinox. It was snug & secure using the LATCH system once we had it right. Turned it forward facing when my son was about 18 months old & it is so much easier to use that way! The fabric is pretty thin, not very padded but the longest car ride we have taken him in it was about 2 hrs & he did fine. You can remove all the straps & take out the fabric to wash it. There is a side cup holder attachment that doesn't stay attached or lock in place well, so we don't use it. This seat is high on the consumer reports ratings for safety, and the price cannot be beat. We bought one for each vehicle in our household. I am happy with my purchase!
