We bought as our second car seat, love it! Cushioning / padding is nice- this is hard to tell from an online picture, but it is nice. Fits our 1 yr old well.

I love the color and the size! It reclines so that baby can take a bottle or snooze. It is easy to set up and install into my car. I can put the baby in and take him out easy and I love that it is rear facing AND forward facing. I think that this is an excellent product and the price was great!I have 2 of these. One for my car in my state and one that I keep at my Grandmother's for when we fly in for a visit.

We've been using this seat for 2 weeks now. Overall I'm pleased with it....but when you consider how inexpensive it was, I'm VERY pleased with it. I initially purchased this because it is a Consumer Reports Best Buy for convertible car seats. Our thought was that if it didn't live up to our expectations, it would work as a secondary seat for daddy's car. It's definitely not perfect. As other people have said, the padding is thin....but this could easily be complemented if you are a creative sort with a sewing machine. And for local driving, I think the thin padding is fine (I'd want to get something additional for longer trips). The chest buckle is a bit large and awkward (made of plastic) but works fine. There are two crotch buckles that function independently. Sometimes when I'm unlocking my daughter, I don't push hard enough and only release one of the two buckles. The crotch buckles are made of metal. Now that I'm getting the hang of it, the unlatching doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm using the LATCH system (the hooks). It would be a PAIN if I had to switch this car seat from car to car. We haven't tried the belt method since the LATCH system works well. If you are only getting one car seat and switching it between cars, this one could be a challenge.BUT as I first mentioned, for the price of this car seat, it is very good.

Excellent product. Safelty and quality seems comparable to my other more expensive car seat. Design is sharp. Color looks great on my black leather seats. Obviousy for this price you don't get all the bells and whistles. However, overall: GREAT VALUE!

This is our backup carseat for short everyday use. It is very easy and is the only CHEAP rear-facing carseat up to 35 pounds. We have the Maxi-Cosi Priori as our first carseat. This is a great knock-off. It is obviously cheaper made and less padded, but is a great back-up. We use the latch system in both of our vehicles and this is nice. It is hard to tighten sometimes, but I make my husband do it. We do have a rolled up towel under the feet end to get it to the right level when rear-facing. I am very pleased with this seat, as it saved us $150 compared to buying a 2nd Maxi-Cosi. I would recommend this for a back-up seat or a grandparents seat!
