the seat is easy to buckle up for adults and impossible for my daughter to unlatch. And she loves the pink over her old black one
I bought this seat for my 33 lb. 4 year old grand daughter. I read reviews that claimed the shoulder straps weren't high enough for most kids as they grew older. Well, I thought that cause my grand daughter is so small despite her age, that we'd get by with this seat. Well, we will, but not for as long as I had hoped! She will probably outgrow it sometime this fall. The shoulder straps are at the top of their reach right now and she's fitting it just right, but not for long. The literature says that the seat fits kids up to 44 lbs. Well, I'd like to see it with a normally sized kid. My granddaughter is a very small girl for her age and this seat won't work much longer. Oh well....live and learn!
I have had such a hard time trying to install the car seat into my van with the latch system. It shows you to put the latch system under the pad and then across the bottom of the car seat, but then when you latch it you can feel the belt bunch up under the pad, this can not be comfortable. I also see that it does not recline well at all. It has been very hard to understand the directions in the manual.
It is better than I expected. I wish that I would have seen this carseat when my baby was an infant. I would have only bought this one only. I like that it is a lighter pink rather than the bright pinks
