It's also perfect for the price and for use as a second car seat in another car or for a relative's car. My daughter is 9months old with the body of a 1year old. She has enough room to move around yet it's snug enough to offer necessary safety.
I am a grandmother who bought this car seat to use with my 1 year old grandaughter.It is not too heavy but is very strong and durable. I used it the first week to take my grandaugher to the doctor when her mother locked herself out of the house.
