  Overall, this is a decent gate. As I said in sizing, it is too tight to use the swing feature with the feet provided, but that is the size of our doorway. It is sturdy. My son leans against it and it holds tight. The only major issue is that it pinches pretty hard. When baby is grabbing at the top of it, the two pieces flex enough that baby can get fingers caught in there. Just don't set it up and ignore baby. If he/she is crying, it could be because of pinched fingers. We use it to keep baby out of the kitchen, and only when I'm near him, so it's ok. If you are looking to get something you can leave the room, you might want to get something wood.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Ok. If you use the swing feature, it is a little too tight, to the point where I could not use the feet where the gate closes. Otherwise, not bad.

  Made of unreinforced low-grade plastic, only. Was unable to withstand shipping without being permanently bent, and there was no protective packaging other than a single layer light corrugated cardboard box. Two of three units ordered were unusable and had to be replaced. I retained the two unusable units and packaging for 2-weeks per request by Overstock.com so that the shipper could inspect them. The shipper never attenpted to inspect, so after 2-1/2 weeks they were disposed. Also, two of the units shipped without mounting screws (I had to buy some separately at the hardware store). Overall experience and satisfaction on scale of 1-10, ... a "2".

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Low quality plastic, not reinforced with metal. Overstock.com describes the item as plastic and metal (which is not accurate). I would not have oredered them if I knew they wer lightweight low-quality plastic.

  I needed a tension gate for a 5 foot doorway. This just makes it. I use it for a small breed puppy, but a toddler could push it over when you stretch the width of the gate to the maximum. If you use it under the 5ft width the tension is fine. Nice neutral color. You can slide out the legs and store it in a very small space and the mesh is washable!

  the gate fits perfectly in the space where i wanted it, which is exactly 60 inches. it was super easy to assemble, and looks great, very discreet. lets my 20-month old play in the living room without being able to reach the front door and stairs. very good product for its price and i'm super happy with my purchase!
