  This gate is beautiful and very well made. It adjusted easily to fit the opening where I wanted it mounted. I bought it to keep two cats from going upstairs. Since my cats are fairly resourceful, I was a little concerned that it would work but it actually was a perfect solution. The slats are narrow enough that they couldn't fit through and the gate was tall enough (where I positioned it) that they couldn't jump over it. Getting through the access portion is very easy. The only concern is that I have it mounted above the floor and I have to be careful to step over the bottom bar when I pass through the gate to go upstairs. This gate is ideal for small children and dogs. I would definitely recommend it.

  Love this gate. Installed it myself. Was easy to do. The gate is easy to put up and take down when not needed. The door in the gate is a very nice feature.

  It was very easy to install. My wife did it is less than 30 minutes. It looks great and the color blends well with the decor in the living room. We put it at the top of the stairs in the upper level, to keep the new puppy from going downstairs. He's a big dog so we liked the height of this gate. It has solved our particular issue, looks great, and was priced for our budget.
