  I enjoy having a gate I can walk thru without having to remove and replace when I go in or out of the room. I cannot step over a gate since I had knee replacement surgery recently. My dogs cannot jump over this gate.

  good little gate, keeps our dogs from wandering into the kitchen. easy to remove if needed. Gate swings open without problem.

  I purchased 3 of these gates to keep our new puppy from getting into various parts of the house. Our cats can still just over them and the dog can't. I'd recommend these gates for various reasons.

  This gate is beautiful and very well made. It adjusted easily to fit the opening where I wanted it mounted. I bought it to keep two cats from going upstairs. Since my cats are fairly resourceful, I was a little concerned that it would work but it actually was a perfect solution. The slats are narrow enough that they couldn't fit through and the gate was tall enough (where I positioned it) that they couldn't jump over it. Getting through the access portion is very easy. The only concern is that I have it mounted above the floor and I have to be careful to step over the bottom bar when I pass through the gate to go upstairs. This gate is ideal for small children and dogs. I would definitely recommend it.
