I ordered this table hoping that it would not clash terribly with the crib that I already had with a Walnut finish (Baby Relax, Bethany James 4 in 1 crib). They match almost perfectly. It is a very nice table for the money and a decent value considering it can be used as a desk later. It comes with a thin pad, but I already had a Munchkin contour pad and it fit just fine. Also, the open space is perfect for a garbage can and diaper pail. I removed the bin on the first shelf and put the wipes warmer there. It works great for us. I would definitely recommend.

This item is called a changing table WITH desk conversion. The desk conversion amounts to taking off the strap and changing pad. It's too high to be a desk. I expected that the height would be adjustable or that there would be some extra piece that made it convert to a desk. Not so. The box was damaged during shipping (it's a flimsy box) and the table had scratches as a result. The instructions were not good at all. I am pretty adept at putting together furniture, but I had to take it apart and reassemble it a few times because the instructions were unclear. I'm glad to have a changing table and I like that i can put the hamper underneath it, but I am disappointed in the quality of the product and find the description "with desk conversion" to be misleading.

the color wasn't exactley what i thought, but i do like it the instructions are a little vague, but i like the way it turns into a table and the space underneath is perfect for a hamper it looks really good in the babys room

After researching changing tables for sometime, my husband and I purchased this one from Overstock.com for two reasons (1) it is half the price on Overstock.com then it is on any other website we found that featured it, and (2) we liked the idea that it had long term use potential since it converts into a desk. The UPS driver damaged the box so one of the pieces had a huge chunk out of it when we received it; however, the company that makes it quickly shipped us a free replacement part - no questions asked and if we damage a part later we can order replacement parts from them for a small fee. The table is very sturdy, a great height for short or tall people, and very easy to convert into a desk. Best of all it matches the Thompson convertable crib by Da Vinci perfectly. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a changing table that will be usefully for more than a year or two.

I am an handy person, but I found some difficulty to mount this item. The instructions are wrong. The wooden surface on the top was scratched. I cannot figure how this changer can become a table! Quality of the changing mattress: poor!
