This is the best baby/dog gate out there. It is very sturdy and looks great. I have a very small dog that used to get her head stuck in the bars of those other gates. This one does not allow for that. We have two in our house and just love them. The only thing that may bother someone is getting them open. There are some people who come into our home that cannot get it open. It is child proof so that is to be expected.
