This product functions as expected, is sturdy and looks nice next to our natural cherry wood stairs.

gates are very difficult to open. especially one handed, i.e. if you are carrying a baby/child. i understand the need for it to be child proof but they are over the top.

It is very sturdy and pretty for a gate. It fits perfectly into my decor without being an eyesight.
